This game had really simple and grounded movement. Loved that the most about this game. Gimmicky tac sprint and slide cancelling every 2 seconds is obnoxious asf.
The lack of tac sprint is really cool. Wish they would add “reinforced boots” back to BO6 game like they did in MW3 to take it out and replace it with a faster base run speed
I think purely from a gameplay standpoint, Cold War is better, but BO6 does have really, really nice progression. If you took Cold War, put BO6 prestige and camo challenges in there, and added gobblegums to their zombies, you'd have the best COD ever.

I understand your arguments completely with bo6. Especially the maps. When you said they were offensively bad I giggled because it’s true like what happened there? lol. But, I do really enjoy the Omni movement. I feel that it’s very fluid but it makes it way more “extra” than what call of duty should be because call of duty was never meant to be the way that they’re trying to make it. Cold War is just so good…
Oh and before I forget (sorry I know I’ve already rambled a lot) THE SNIPING in Cold War….amazing, perfect, superb, top tier. I could go on forever…it just had the EXACT feel you got from sniping in cod back in the day. I just love it. Okay now I’m done lol.
@@CaffreyPlays yeah i feel like the newer engines don't feel like cod anymore mw 2019 did have that cod feel still and it was different from all the other cods but i think the newer engines overstayed their welcome i liked engines like cold war and before felt and looked like call of duty.
yeah I re installed it earlier and was getting games no problem for hours and was having way more fun than on black ops 6. Think I’m gunna stick to Cold War and xdefiant for now

It TRULY feels like they just SLAPPED this game together and gave half a fuck. I refuse to slog through zombies on that game as well. They have cool 'swords' on that castle map, but its NOTHING like Black Ops 3 'Shadows of Evil' Like what the FUCK were these IDIOTS THINKING making me pay 500 points to TAKE A PORTAL WE BUILD IN THE GAME??? The multi is bad too, but its slightly more forgivable, as long as I have noob tubes! Also, that one mansion map looks so unrealistic for a 1990's game. None of that shit makes me thing im playing in the 90s!
zombies is bugged sometimes if that’s what you’re trying to play. go into a multiplayer lobby and make your party open. your friend should be able to join you and you can move to zombies from there. on the other hand if it says one of you are offline then search for a match and the other should be able to join.

Ya it felt like classic call of duty. Sliding and slide canceling has been in cod for awhile but MW19 version of it ruined alot for me.

I found a setting in private lobbies to disable tac sprint. Apparently it's that easy for them... why is tac sprint in the game in the first place
bo6 comes so close all they needed to do is remove tac sprint and better maps and they missed the mark so hard

this is actually the most recent cod game that was not made with the MW 2019 or the newer version of it the MW2 2022 engine.
It's the last and only game on that engine unfortunately

Unable to join party usually means you have a NAT type mismatch or one of you has crossplay disabled

Agreed cold war had some of the worst animations and clunkiest movement, black ops 6 is a huge upgrade, and black ops 3 was 10x better too
