Today we are checking out the PAK Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona figures which comes with the first class edition of the game. This is such a nice figure set and was exclusive to the Square Enix store. Its honestly such a great piece and is just as good as the Fenrir despite not having a light up feature, its still a fantastic figure none the less! The Cloud figure is the same from 2017 but it still remains one of the best PAK FFVII figures in my opinion, so I dont mind that its the same figure. Overall I'm sure happy with this edition and I'm so glad that I picked it up. Hope you guys enjoy the review, be sure to subscribe for more and let me know what video you guys want to see next! Hmm, it's interesting to see that there is that subtle difference in the paint job of the faces. Don't really know what to think about it. I suppose the subtler one looks a little more game accurate? Anyway I really do hope they'll sell the Hardy Daytona separately one day as I kinda refrained from getting the 1st class edition because I already have the 2017 Cloud making the price a bit too hefty for me atm :')

There are so much out there and when searching for some specific you come across some shady sites. Like Wish that try tocatch with small prices and then deliver knockoff or damaged things.
The details and the paint apps on the Hardy Daytona look superb but it’s a shame that it doesn’t have lights like the Fenrir & it’s also good that you did a comparison of both Cloud figures, seeing that the one from 2017 has a bit more detail. Overall I do like this set and I can’t wait for my parcel from Square Enix to arrive in NZ
I thought the 1st Class Edition is not available in NZ. Did you use mail forwarding service for that order? If so, can I ask you which service provider you use and how much you paid for shipping?
Yes. Got the Daytona. The bike was very well made. Really pleased with it.
However, I find it very difficult to take out the circular cap on Cloud's back and did not want to scratch my figure. So it's sadly disappointing when it comes to attaching the Buster Sword on his back. I found it very risky.
Another thing is the spare hands that meant to hold the Buster Sword, very difficult to put sword into it... I was also afraid to break my Buster Sword and did not use those hands... 😅

if nomura didnt add all the weird shit and meta nonsense, and instead put a bit more of the story. atleast get to 1/3 of the original story. it would easily have been GOTY even when Cyberpunk and last of us 2 comes out later this year

Hello awesome unboxing! I just got mine in and I love it so far, but when I move Clouds right shoulder it squeaks like hell it doesn't give me that ball ratchet sound and wondering if I should be concerned or not or maybe it could loosen up overtime I would really appreciate your opinion.

Now THIS is sublime detailing and paintwork. Absolutely stunning. I wish I had a lot of spare money to get this hah.
I came here to look it up but it seems like you didn't discover it either. There is a piece at the upper front of the Daytona (it's in the middle, approximately the same location where the lights are on the downside) which can be opened so that you have a "speed display" for Cloud. I looked at the paper that came with my figure and it's on the 4th picture ("Display"), left to "Kick-stand". I didn't know how to open it and tried to look it up on RUclips. Pushing the lower part down won't help. I somehow opened it by pulling it up from the side, and then I grabbed the upper part when I managed to lift it for a bit. It's a small detail but I hope I could help others with opening that part.
I got my Tifa Lockhart figure three months ago and was planning to get Cloud. (These are my first ever Final Fantasy figures) Then I got lucky and found this Set used at a local video shop here in Los Angeles.
I got it for a good price. And I knew this would go up in price.
This will make a cool piece in my book shelves.
Thanks for the review. I had bought the original Cloud and then decided to buy tge Daytona alone from a seller but was wondering if it would fit on the bike. Glad I’m getting the best of both. I want the AC one though but so expensive!
Have you received any of your play arts figures broken?? My first class edition just got here with a chunk of the bike just broken off & im really pissed off about it tbh 😤😤 I emailed them but come on now this was way too expensive!! I can’t even be excited anymore
SpartanUruk you know the part that’s under the handle bars?? Its the part that kinda points out on both sides when it’s facing forward ugh It’s hard to explain but that whole piece is ripped off but the other side is in tact. It looks like someone just ripped it off & set the piece on the side of the bike because that’s how it was when I opened it. It was clearly broken & I thought maybe I could attach it back on but I couldn’t. It also has scratches where it was broken & it just hurts my soul 😢😢

Whats up with that battery port looking thing ln the Hardy Daytona? It's on the top around the front. You flip it up and it looks weird.

I just got mine and trying to set him up. How do you switch the hands and out them into his arm. I'm trying to put a different hand but it just won't go in no matter how hard I push it in, how do you do it? I'm not trying to accidentally brake it trying to put it in.
Awesome review; you've got yourself a sub! I cracked open this box recently and the bike is absolutely gorgeous. Very hefty beast and a monster on display space.
Like you, I'm disappointed that for the price SE couldn't add light-up LEDs in the front headlight and rear taillight as that little detail would've made the bike pop even more. I'm also a little bummed that Cloud himself isn't the new 2020 PAK sculpt but just another reissue of the 2017 PAK with subtle paint details on the face.
Still, the total package with the figure, motorcycle, lanyard, game, and art book altogether is decent and I'm glad I picked it up.
I'm guessing they'll re-release the bike again sometime in the future but with added lights and include the new PAK mold of the Cloud figure. SE's gotta get their money's worth.
Hi I'm new and I have acquire this figure arts, but I have some problems with the hands, the holes are too small for the mouthpiece. Do you have this problem too ?

From what i observed from this video, it seems like in term of scaling the FF7R figure is a bit larger than the FF7AC figure. Can you confirm it for me or is it just the way the video is shoot messing with my perspective?
So is this Daytona bike any different from the past production ? And is the new cloud strife play arts kai for the remake worth it than this version ? I m a fan and I want to buy the whole remake play art set and I pre-ordered the 1st class editions already, but I m having hard time to decide to buy cloud remake from play arts kai ? I just got mine plus the AC and fenrir and I love them!!! My only complaint is with the 1st class Cloud. The ball joint connecting his upper body to his lower body keeps popping off when I crunch or twist the waist. Other than that I'm happy to have it. Prices are crazy now!!

I wonder if there's a way to customize the headlights with reflective tape or something so they at least have more detailing to them.
Maybe sometime they'll sell just Cloud and Hardy Daytona. I didn't get Cloud in 2017 because something was telling me they would do something like this for the Remake. Went 😱 when I saw it during E3 2019. So happy they did. Finally the Hardy Daytona was going to be part of the Play Arts Kai line.. It deserved it just like Fenrir.
To be honest, the Cloud still looks really awesome. The hardy-daytona itself looks fucking sick. If only it did had a light up feature. But the reflection is extremely realistic I think what you were going for maybe? Because that reflection looks fairly realistic to the paint you'd see on a car. Saying "realistic" seems funny to say because it's an existing thing with reflections, but what I mean is the fact it looks like actual paint on a black car. Reflective works but man i feel I'm explaining myself well enough

It will be Interesting to see how the 1st class version of Cloud compares to version 2 that is scheduled to be released later this year.
I got the 1st Class Edition too and agree they should have had the bike light up, especially considering how much it all cost
Other than that it's really nice and happy to have it :)
I be honest, I always thought Fenrir is the coolest thing ever hit the fictional road, and the original Daytona was nice but nothing special, but when I played FF7 remake this thing just made me fall into obsession, now thx to them I need a real Harley to fill my thirst :(
@@SpartanUruk yeah both are awesome, but Daytona is iconic to us old FF7 fans nevertheless but the remake one just clicked something inside if you know what i mean, like Illya said "I could hear the sound of a switch being flipped inside my body", almost as if old Daytona design and the Ferir design had a perfect child feeling

Any tips on how to make the hands fit the swords and grip stuff? I bought it and im having real trouble getting it in the correct "poses" as it were.

Hello, you must know this too but I did not see you mention it in the review, I mean a piece above the front of the bike between the two handlebars that gets in and out of the bike that looks like a small blue screen for Cloud

Man. I really hoping to get my hands on this Cloud figure and motorcycle in the SOLDIER 1st Class Edition. Since didn't own FF7Remake Version of Cloud Strife. Which I hold off from getting one. Because I knew they were going to eventually release one with this trademark motorcycle.

Maybe sometime. It's part of why I didn't buy Cloud when he was first released. I had a feeling that Square would do something like this. :)
Am I the only one that's having trouble with getting Cloud to lean far enough forward to actually grab the handles of the bike? Doesn't seem like he has enough of an ab crunch for it and I just can't figure out how to get him to grab it.
Collectors edition cloud seems like it has a longer neck which makes it look weird than the older one
You missed two small details. The Hardy Daytona has a lifting display panel toward the front of the bike, and the Cloud figure came with an exclusive pair of interchangeable hands made solely to grip the handlebars of the bike.
@@SpartanUruk No the panel actually flips up on the nose. You only realize this if you read the instructions.
Does the sides open on where clouds swords can be put?

I have this figure. Is it just me or can’t Cloud lean over and hold the handles of the bike? I want to me him look like he is riding the bike. But Clouds hands just cannot reach the handles.
That Hardy Daytona Bike is shiny and gorgeous but i hope that square enix makes a play arts kai remake version of Rufus Shinra because he looks so amazing and when he was Confirmed I am hoping that he comes with Darkstar And An Interchangeable Hand That Has A Shinra Coin

You really cant do much changes if the figure is almost near perfect. Not to mention the outfit is not complicated since the creation of the first game.
I would imagine that it’s sold out because I thought you could only get it through square ENEX.
1st class upper torso a bit smaller than the previous one.
For Head sculpt, the previous one more datailed than 1st class
I prefer the previous one.
1st class Cloud seems a downgrade for me except the lower torso detail after the buckle

Both Clouds, practically the same, they're not accurate to the final version we see in the game. They look like the first Cloud that appeared on the reveal trailer in 2015. Anyway, I like both Clouds (reveal and final version).
I couldnt pull the trigger as 330.00 was to much, now online it ranges from 600.00 to 1000.00 pisses me off because I'm a true fan of Final Fantasy and I really wanted this while others are just opportunistic scalpers.

The box is packed away for years now, but its a pretty big box since this is a collectors edition. Say about the length of 3 large shoe boxes.
