After watching for some time and visiting your website I had made a decision and purchased the FK1. My hand is 22cm from middle finger to palm. At first it was a bit weird, but after sometime I got use to it quickly and OMG did my aim improve. With that being said you are spot on. I believe that if anyone measures near me would want the FK1+. All in all I am extremely happy with my FK1.

@@binhopz Hello! I bought the FK1 but had it replaced after two years when the left mousebutton started acting up (double-regs on one-clicks). I'm planning to get the FK1+ which is a little bigger I think, the FK1 was on the smaller side for me.
Great review once more Zy. FK series definitely added for trying out my fingertip grip with, hopefully soon ;D Now if only they'd make a shell version with buttons separated from the base to please the MOBA players ;p

as someone with 19*11 cm hands using claw-grip, i find the fk1+ far to wide for my gripping style, which goes to show how your point about the size guides is just that, guides, and that proves that u won't know if a mouse is right unless u try it. i must give u credit for including these disclaimers regarding the point above. i love your videos, they are very professionally made and very informative. i must thank u and ur channel for guiding me in my hunt for a good mouse. i'm buying the fk2 btw. and again thanks ;-)

Thanks for the reference. I wanted to switch form the g502 which is a relatively heavy mouse to something more agile. Got the FK-2 in today and omg the difference is crazy. I feel so much more confident with widowmaker when im already at master with her. Just wanted to give some positive feedback. The clicks are a bit more of a metallic tactile sound than in the video though.
That FK1+ looks HUGE on camera! I think the FK2 or FK1 would be perfect for my hand size and fingertip grip.
I guess I'm the only one who likes the ZA13 the most:P I got the 2016 benq version and I love it. It fits my hand so perfectly, but I can understand how some people don't like it as when I grip the mouse normally it's a bit uncomfortable, however when I use my unique grip style (kind of a palm grip but with my middle finger on the scroll wheel and my ring finger on mouse 2, useful for CS GO) it is like it's not even there and I can aim great:) btw Zy great video as always, the format of your videos makes it very easy to compare and find the perfect mouse, although the ZA series weren't for you, it still gave me the information I needed to see that the the ZA13 was the one for me so thankyou :D
Great review. I disagree on the point that FK1 is good for finger/claw grip only. I got relatively big palm and FK1 is perfectly fine for finger, palm and hybrid grips.
I palm grip my FK1+ with no issues. I really enjoy how low it sits. Great Mouse!
i had a za12 and it gave me alot of wrist pain, now i'm using the g403
i was thinking to get the za11 or the fk1+, but idk. btw, did it had any of wrist pain or cramp fingers with some zowie mices? ty
Same for me I play Overwatch competitively (used to be CSGO) and I always played with a Razer Mamba 2012 ultimate edition and like I ended up picking a Zowie ZA 13 and hated it for months and months until one day I finally figured out how to hold it and actually prefer the ZA 13 now as its as much palm grip as it is claw grip creating this smooth tracking capability along with easy and smooth flicking all I have to say is shout out to Zowie man they're on drugs or something
Your review of made me buy my FK1 and honestly I have never had a better mouse, I never press the side buttons by mistake since they are a bit above where my thumb rests and a bit behind where my ring finger rests, love the shape of it as it makes it really easy to pick it up since I like to play on 800 dpi and very low sensitivity. I also like the feel of the left/right and middle mouse button as they have quite a tactile feedback which makes it satisfying to click in general.

i bought the fk1 5 months ago. i love most things about the mouse and am satisfied with my purchase. ONE MAJOR ISSUE i have with it is the plastic used in it. it is a plastic which gets very sticky after using is for 1-2 hours. i have sweaty palms and this is a major issue for me.

BTW I bought a Deathadder Chroma two weeks ago and my hand just melted on it, It is just a touch too big but it doesn't matter because I am just wrecking in CS :)

A week ago ordered a Zowie BenQ FK1. After then i discovered that FK1+ is selling. I was very frustrated because I like SS Sensei shape and FK1+ very similar to Sensei. But when I used Sensei, I want only one thing. Can it be just a little smaller. And now i see, that fk1 is perfect for me. That you Zy, your review is very helpful.

Mouse preference may also depend on sensitivity.
I had about 56cm for a long time and the ZA11 was amazing, aim improvement on the first game already. Tried the FK1 and couldn't aim at all.
Recently I changed to 40cm, and tried out the FK1 again. MUCH better results, I'll test it for a month now but it seems that at 40cm, the FK1 suits me better, even tho it still feels a bit small. FK1+ might be perfect, already on the way.
Never thought about it, but maybe someone else had the same kind of experience?
I'm sure the sensitivity and aiming style has a lot to do with it. Palm gripping the za12 at 12 cm 360 just wouldn't feel right at all for me. However I could palm it at 40cm easily.
Did you like the plus more? Is it your main?
You should put the mouses...side by side...from diferent angles...just a tip. People who want to buy it want to see how it looks compared to others.

Personally software customization for things like macros and such is a huge factor for me, so i wont be switching from my deathadder anytime soon, but i can see why some people would prefer no software for better plug and play
Now if they just released a mamba with a 3989 or 3360 sensor life would be perfect
I own an older version of the FK1, that has a yellow scroll wheel. The rubber shell started peeling off within the first month and the right mouse button has not worked consistently after a year and a half. That said, there is probably nobody who is harder on their equipment, I pack all my gear in a backback and take it out, several times a day and have done so for nearly three years straight. I have yet to replace any of my stuff from the beginning of that period. I wonder if the new FK1s have better rubber coating, I do not mind the peeling, though the mouse looked really good that first week of owning it. The thing that I have a huge problem with is the left mouse button, it can be really irritating if an alt fire does not go off as planned. I live with it though, these mice are expensive and I do not feel like buying another one. I also doubt that other brands would survive long in the meat grinder that is my travel backpack.

There's no bane worse in the world than owning several top mice and not being able to decide which to use. I got (old) FK1, G303 (without any rattle), DM1 pro, (new) EC2A. The old FK1 has 20-30ms slower buttons than the rest of the mice I have, so it's out of the equation. G303 is way too weirdly shaped so it's out as well. But between the DM1 pro and EC2A, I just can't decide.
I love the FK1+ it is accurate, comfortable and you don't need to buy another one after 3 months unlike Razer and Steelseries mice. Benq isn't fucking around when it comes to gaming gear

Zy I found the ec3-a or even ec4-a. It's wireless and its called the J burrows wireless mouse
I wish zowie made a FK3 with 120mm length. I feel there is little difference between FK1 and FK2.
I have 20,5x11cm hands yet I find g203 better for me than FKs, but in some situations I just feel i lose control over it.
In general I wish there were more small/medium mice to pick from - I feel like 120mmx60mm and 80-85g is the sweet spot. It's all about weight balance though.

It surprised me that there is "so many" notable things wrong with a Zowie mouse! I don´t really like them myself but I have always regarded Zowie mice as "The brand of mice that pro gamers use a lot" (They probably also use Zowie mice cuz they sponsor them as well) :-)
Well that's the thing. Shape, weight and balance are so important that even with the problems I mention, they're still my favourite mice. And the same is true for a lot of people. If Zowie can address these concerns, they would be perfect.
Hey Zy. So I use a g502. And I've tried both the FK1 and FK2 at my local shop here in WA. I seem to find that the FK1 is a good size, similar to the G502, and I have 20cm hands. Should I be picking between the EC1-A and FK1? Leaning a little bit more towards EC1-A because of the easy switch from an ergo to another ergo mouse.
if the EC1-A feels better in the hand then pick it. Its all about preference, you cant ask someone else to pick a mouse for you :)

I have all of those mice. It Really depends...if you are used to right handed mouse it might take a wee bit to get used to the FK series, but i do feel like that the FK feels better in my hand after you get used it. but i have been wrecking with my EC2-a but it hurts my writs after a bit of playing and doesnt feel like i can grip it aswell as the FK series. Like i said though. It just really depends.

yeah man i got small hands and I tried the ec2a and it was too big might get the FK2 but rn i use g303 and its amazing. If my g303 gets boring or breaks definitely gonna chose the FK2

Hi Zy! You make great vids man and I love these comparison videos. But can you make a comparison video between Logitech g900, Razer mamba (the wireless version) and Logitech g602 since all lol of them are wireless mice
I have 19,5/10 cm hands, and the fk1 was too tight for my hand, the fk1+ feels more comfortable, even for a claw/palm grip
I hit the side buttons on them. But alot less frequent then rival, or deathadder with huge ass sensitive buttons that are impossible to avoid :P got a fk1+ on its way to me, have a za-13 and ec2-a deathadder rival and more. fk1+ or fk1 are my recommendations.

Test the "DUCKY SECRET MOUSE", this mouse looks very well build with PBT-Plastic and PixArt PMW 3310DH Sensor.
I feel like having a smoother scroll wheel with less tactile feedback would be better for csgo bunny hopping. I have the zowie fk2 and it took a bit of getting use to changing from the DA.

I had the FK2, and jitter clicking was difficult. I play Dota 2 and osu! and the stiffness was very apparent in osu!

The zowie fk one plus gives me that palm room. All the other fks are too small for me.
You asked my thoughts about the ec2a 3 months ago so here it is,
I don't like the texture as it would only be grippy if I sweat and it somehow gets dirtier much more easier than my DA and Rival. I can aim and follow my enemies better but flicking wasn't as accurate as I used to be, maybe it's the change in weight im not used to. Also when my computer is off and I shake the mouse on accident, the scroll wheel lights up and it's really bright and the thing is, I don't like it as a night light. I am liking the mouse better than my previous mice because it is more comfortable for my hand size and I felt as if the tracking of the mouse was better than the Rival 300 (old) and the deathadder.
[Edit] I also don't like the high pitched sound from the clicks and the side buttons are so bad but usable.

Sorry, what I meant to say was that when I flick, I usually land 1-2cm from my enemy because I am not used to the low weight.
I'm between the Rival 300 and the Zowie FK1. My hand is 19.3 cm long and 10.1 cm width. Usually claw grip.
I'm currently playing a lot of CS:GO, but I also like MOBAs.
Any advice? I can also consider other mice.

Huano or slightly stiffer switches seem to be good for jitterclicking and aiming at the same time.

Bought FK1 two months ago.. I'm right handed (fingertip, ~ 20,5 cm ) and when pitching down, I always press right sided buttons :( . It seems I can't get use to it. Just a concern. In Fps its kinda ok, but when playing something different its frustrating. But don't get me wrong, mouse is of pretty great quality. :)
The real question about the side buttons from these 52% who said "Never" how do they placed their ringfinger? My ringfinger or the tip of the ringfinger is not always under the side buttons and touch the mousepad like my thumb or pinky my finger tip from my ringfinger is on the sensei as an example exactly where the buttons are (hardcore claw grip)

Have you ever used the Logitech G400s? It's been regarded as one of the best mice for comfort, and has a nice sensor.

See I have an issue. My hands are 17.5x9.5cm, so pretty much no recommendations are accurate for me. Like you’re saying that the FK1 is too long for my hand, but it feels perfect, and I’ve never even used a fingertip grip, it just felt so natural. But you recommend the FK2 for me, which bothers me quite a bit
if you feel more comfortable and aim better on the fk1, keep it! I have an fk1 as well and have around your hand size and I love it. I do want to try an fk2 eventually though, but for now the fk1 feels fantastic
beebeep I actually tried both at Dreamhack. The FK2 felt too small, but the FK1 felt right. My only issue is that besides the shape, which is amazing, most modern mice are better than the FK in every possible way. Also the FK1 is fingertip, and I mostly use palm. When u used the FK1, were u coming from fingertip or did u start using fingertip because of the FK1
@@thatafknoob7813 I actually also mostly palm the fk1. I came from fingertip but found that the fk1 was a little too long for me to grip like usual, so I worked out a half palm/fingertip grip to use it.

But i have a little problem the fk series of mice seem to fit my hybrid finger tip/ claw grip but my hand is 11cm wide but 18.75 cm long. I am 16 if that means anything, like that my hand length will grow longer idk. Would it be safe to just go with the fk1+ or get the fk2?

Zowie mice are not very well built. I had a FK1, main button started to double click just after 1 year. Couldn't find any info on their site about how long the warranty is so emailed them and was told it's only 1 year for North America.

I would love to buy this, but I find the side buttons on right side annoying when they're for no use. I have za 13 now because I thought it was bigger then za 11. Was annoyed when the smaller number was the bigger mouse, but I should have read in to it more on Google. I have 21+ in hand size so when I pick mouse I know there is no one for my size so I just try to get the biggest one...
I've been on the search.. and one thing that I can't find is the Intellimouse 1.1a shell With a better sensor.. I hear that it would either be the ZA series or FK series or even quite possibly the Fnatic Flick G1. Could you confirm or deny on this? I also found one DIRECTLY from China but I don't always have the best experience with direct China products.

I know this is off the topic the question but I've been using sensitivity i got the G900 i use 1150dpi and 5 window sens and on bf4 i use %2 and CSGO i use 0,6 in game.will still run smooth like i know The Great Sensor Debate -2- High DPI VS Low DPI video that you did you said like 2000 or greater than 2000 dpi will be more smooth.

Hey. Im confused right now. We dont have ec2-a in Poland yet, but we have ec1-a and fk2. I wonder if I should by fk2 or ec1-a. EC1 might be a little too big cause my hand is 18cm length.

I cannot choose between the FK1/FK2 and the EC1-A/EC2-A. My grip style is a hybrid of claw and palm. My hand is about the same as yours; maybe a little bit wider. Please help me. Also can I send the mouse back if I don't like it?

My hand is quite large (21cm) and I prefer using fingertip grip, which led me to the Zowie FK1 and FK1+. The mouse I am currently using Microsoft Basic optical mouse, and the only thing making it really uncomfortable for me is that it doesn't suit my hand width (10.5cm). I don't have anywhere to try out these mice in my country, and if I buy one to try it out I can't return it. What do you think would be the safer choice between these mice?
have you ever tried replacing the mouse switches? i was thinking of getting a fk2 and changing the switches to some "top end" omrons for the lower actuation force on some of there switches and the better durability

really stuck on which mouse to buy, I play both RTS/FPS for elongated hours and am currently using death adder which is starting to act up. I'm looking for an optical mouse with omron switches do you have any recommendations? I have never tried huano and am worried about the stiffness.
DeathAdder is good. Depends on hand size and grip style though.
yeah ive got roughly same size hands as yours according to the vid and play claw/palm. Only issue with deathadder is the razer software haha.
DeathAdder is too big for me... I prefer the Roccat Kone Pure Military, maybe take a look at that.
Thanks for the video, its really nice one, but I still do have a one question. You said that FK1+ is for people with 11cm wide hands. Thats exactly me, but my hand lenght is around 18,2cm, that means I should use FK2. Im quiet confused which one is suitable for me. Im used to my Oscar x7, but it needs change. My grip is finger tip.
