I love Ivo's role in this. You could have easily made him a villain like in the original timeline, but you made him a misunderstood character and fleshed out humanity. While I admittedly almost clicked off when Shadow died as he is my favorite character, I'm glad I didn't as I feel there is so much that could be told about this story.
It also pained me to kill Shadow in this story as well for he is also my favorite character. It does make sense though when going along the themes of legacy that this story has, Shadow truly was the last of Gerald's direct footprint on the world, and with his death, so too died any direct Gerald influence. (unless we were to bring in Gizoid but probably not lol) Ivo is probably my favorite character I've written so far lol
Sonic What if Idea: What if Sonic were REALLY Tortured in Sonic Forces? Daily robot fights, beating within an inch of his life, Illusions from Infinite of his friends dying? How would these physical and emotional scars affect Sonic Forces, Frontiers and everyone around Sonic as a whole?
Honestly,a theory like that would have a lot of content,and probably would least quite a bit since the IDW are kind of canon,and also sonic prime,team sonic racing,and frontiers,i would imagine that a good plot point of this would be,that sonic thanks to his trauma and resentment against everything that happened in the war could no longer go súper so freely,and instead when he tries to use the chaos emeralds,he loses himself a bit,dark sonic/fleetway súper sonic style
Oh, yeah! Now I can’t stop imagining everyone needing to get Sonic into Therapy or a worst case Scenario of Shadow wiping his memory with a chaos emerald

Spoilers Got to be honest, The whole time during the epilogue, I thought it was gonna be revealed that Ivo had discovered shadow and nursed him back to health like in the official timeline. Of course that didn’t of happening, and as sad as it is to see him go, I respect the choice to keep him dead.
Honestly I toyed with that idea as well BUT that would require Ivo to search for him while being public enemy number 1 AND honestly I thought this was the more interesting direction to go with the story
I created like this neat headcanon about there being a subspecies to the Black arms that I call *the White Arms* they are more generous compared to the cruel and heartless Black Arms. Their Princess, Angelica (my first Sonic OC) is in love with Shadow and is kinda like his Amy in a way, however unlike Amy she is more calming and manages to control herself whenever it comes to her love for Shadow If we ever get an SA3 I would like this concept of the White Arms to be explored, that would make an interesting story. Shadow and Angelica's relationship might even give some hints into Silver's Past, as the White Arms have telekinesis powers 👀

I really love this what if, that one big event if it never happened really does make a big difference. But poor knuckles though from some trespassers wanting to take the Master Emerald to having it broken in front of his very eyes he had a rough time throughout the what if, at least he got it back (after a long tedious time of course. I also like Eggman’s arc while having good intentions it was a very different way of world peace but he realized all this and not only saved the world but became a hero. Probably not important but I’d imagine while Tails was in Circus Park he saw a bag of mints on a table or something and just too them considering in some sonic media mints are Tails’s favorite (don’t know why I thought of that to be honest. I also saw for the intro of the Sonic what if’s super Tails was ready to fight Perfect Chaos, so I think we might get a what If for Tails in the future. This is my first time watching your videos on your channel and I’m liking it so far. Keep it up
Honestly,i am surprised sonic is not getting stomped by shadow,like i know sonic currently is probably stronger and has far more potential than shadow,but like......this is CLASSIC sonic,a sonic has never in his live uses the emeralds,or his more latent powers,no boost,no homing attack,no frontiers/sonic battle martial arts,BARELY the spin dash vs an actual +50 years old shadow,but all the experience and practice that would include,if current sonic vs current shadow is a fair fight,then what is this?
How about taking the Sonic Frontiers story and making it about Team Dark instead of Sonic Tails Knuckles & Amy? Though I think Knuckles would still be in the story regardless. As in: What if Team Dark went to the Starfall Island?
Possible sequel: Dr. Starline appears way earlier here. Perhaps making His own Sonic Tails Knuckles and Rouge counterparts. Blinded by His Hero, he does similar if not same Radical extremes as canon Eggman.
What if Cosmo got the Dark form instead of Sonic and survived? Would she give in to the darkness? Will Hyper Sonic return to banish the darkness? Or maybe, would Shadow get his redemption? I want you to tackle this what if for me man, it would be a HUGE favor for me! 🥺
Shadow survived the fall, remember? He would have survived. Plus its implied the only thing that can destroy black doom is someone with his blood and power, which is shadow.
It is highly implied that even though Shadow survived the fall, he was in critical condition. He probably wouldn't have pulled through if it wasn't for Eggman taking him and rehabilitating him.

You're forgetting something in all this. 1. Amy rose might have shown up at some point. 2. the events of 06. Shadow could have been revived at that point, Ivo being curios about if Shadow lived. Shadow was noted to be far more powerful then originally planned, Having immortality. Shadow coming back, only for the time/space conqueror, Mephilies needing to be taken down to be his first mission out of retirement. How different could it look with everyone, But Ivo, freaking out that shadow is alive again. After story?
I dont really think Frontiers would really happen in this timeline. Ivo would have no reason to go to the Starfall Islands to reactivate Cyber Space which means Sonic wouldn't go there to be deceived by The End to break the seal containing them. Essentially, The End would just continue to be sealed indefinitely.

I really love this what if, that one big event if it never happened really does make a big difference.
