Tip 6: if you have a level were the enemy have to start their village from scratch as well and you can reach them. Take all your followers walk towards the enemy village convert as many wildmen as you can and destroy them at the start. Did it alot in later levels with multiple enemies(example ballon level)
Yeah I always do this on level 11 and 13 against the Matak tribe (green). By the time I make it to their base I have at least 60 followers (if not 90-100) and several spells fully maxed out (blast, lightning, swarm, hypnotize, landbridge, and sometimes even invisibility) and I can just wreck them before they even build a temple. EDIT: forgot that I also do this on level 14, either against the Dakini or against the Matak. Doing it against the Matak grants me high ground, while doing it against the Dakini actually removes an enemy tribe, because the Matak don’t do anything besides take a bit of your land.
I always wondered why the enemy used to make braves patrol, especially when they had just suffered an attack. I had no clue about this mechanic in the 24 years I've played this game...

The AI killed my entire tribe of 60 trained followers with a single lightning, 5 minutes into lvl 14 in the anniversary edition. I looked away for a moment before launching my attack on the Matak, and the Dakini just swoop in in a balloon. Fuck me
Tip: if you have full spells, just choose the spell for charge mana. If you have enough huts like 20 or 35 huts is okay. If your base was goes on 50 that was max of huts.
