    It's a very good base and new released car really. The radio design looks like a TF40 redesigned for the gaming community, it just makes it more toy grade and less serious.

    That HPI radio looks like a Bluetooth speaker. 😂 I miss the old HPI Nitro RS4 belt drive. That thing was sweet with the automatic 2-speed gearing. We used to put PVC pipe tape over the rear tires and drift them in the Toys R Us parking lots late at night. So much fun, HPI always had some decent affordable cars back then when their competition was only Ofna and Serpent when it came to nitro touring cars.

    Hey! You mentioned you’d like to have larger pinions with the stock spur. What number teeth would you like to use? Currently you an use 16-17t pinion max I believe.

    On the S buggy, besides wheels/tires, I did notice the shocks are different (possibly a bit longer), as well as the front shock tower. Anyway, glad you picked up one of the truggies. While I'm partial to the S models because I like me some 7075 like in the original Vorza buggy, I think we do need to get a good review on the non-S versions. On the non-S truggy, I'm really curious how the chassis will hold-up without a tower-to-tower brace.

    • @vivos71
      @vivos71 2 года назад

      Shocks front and rear according to HPI are 108mm, this is for both the buggy and the truggy. The buggy used to be 100mm all around with an option for 112mm on the rear (still worth doing on the new buggy) and the D8T’s original shocks used to be much longer than those of the Vorza truggy. Using the same shocks on the buggy and truggy could he why the truggy is so low slung and soft.
