I don't personally enjoy listening to these big mouth trash talkers. Can't they just play chess with a little bit of decorum? And before I get jumped on, I do look at the splash screen before watching. I just won't watch the big mouths anymore.
Dave's strategy is the best...he is willing to lose a game (on time or by check mate) in order to take a chance at coming up with something truly amazing and wonderful.
I like the idea of a good attack strategy, but in my own chess games I notice I tend to play more defensively just by default, and I have an easier time of it. Plus, it's fun to sit back and watch your opponent fume while they're trying to work out a promising attack while you're casually mocking them in good sport. Mike has significantly improved since he first joined the Coffee Chess club! It's pretty cool to see him holding his own, recognizing some good plays, and having some bite to his bark now. I think Dave's still the better player at this point in time, but that man was chuckling so much at Mike's lines I think he forgot half his strategies. Always nice to see old friends go at it!

I don’t want to be all social justice warrior here but given that your mission as stated is to expand the population of folks interested in the joy of chess, it’s hard to support the kind of exchange that happens here about girls.
