@@MotorhomeMatt The rule is pretty clear and I do recall being told to leave lights on years ago when I drove commercial vans but they were not even over 3.5 ton. Personally... I avoid motorways as I do often need to stop to return calls and work and I'll use a layby for a 5-15 minute stop to work or if it's one of those that has a separation verge (even better if it has a cafe) then I'll stop for longer but to sleep? No, I'd rather park on an industrial estate,
Is there a segment covering bigger the downfalls of bigger motorhomes vs smaller ones. I’ve heard of campsites only permitting a camper of a certain length.
Recently in I think motorhome fun site there was a post where a guy which a motorhome covered 3 bays bought 3 tickets got back to find 3 parking tickets because of not parking between the lines
@10:10 parking in laybys I watched a video recently on this and it referenced rule 250 of the highway code. May be of interest.
Yes an interesting reference… so what’s your conclusion?

We’ve covered this before in the Q&A. Some campsites do have a 7m length limit yes.
Daz is a cool guy aka "Urban Motorhome" and I love his channel and yours.
We love him! In fact, he's currently staying with us and we have a future episode planned
Thank you 👍

I’ve no doubt! Seems unfair doesn’t it! But I guess they wanted him to buy 6 tickets?!
Australia love their signs, too 😅
Industrial estates. Nearly every town has one. Wide roads. Plenty of spaces at night.
