Hi Joel, thank you for this little but nice and informative video! You like the same colours as me and that's why you chose the Hazel tablet. After watching your first Pixel 7 (Pro) videos back then, I also bought the Pixel 7 Pro Hazel and installed GrapheneOS. I still like it a lot and if Google offers a Pixel Tablet Pro at some point, I might buy and use it as a safe computer - with GrapheneOS, of course!
Great quick video. Tantalising enough to make me try this. 1 ? To your knowledge, Will any USB C cable for pixel devices function? Or do I need to buy a cable specific for the pixel phone/tablet to install graphene? Thanks. Love your work.
Thanks! And the cable that comes with it was a power-only USB-C cable, though I actually have a data+power USB-C cable from an external hard drive that worked great for GrapheneOS. Thankfully, nothing proprietary at all!
There is so many pixel tablets can you please list what pixel tablets I can install this into as means I can buy it I have installed it into my 7 pro just wanting to know what’s the newest pixel tablet I can put this into
What if Google pixel running Android 13 is HACKED by Spyware , rootkit , firmware rootkit or rootkit that have reached to bios.... Do installing Graphene OS removes those things..
A rootkit would grant access to the base of the operating system and grant access to all of the system files, user folders, etc. However, it is extremely unlikely that a rootkit would be able to bypass the firmware protections and gain access to the chipset and the individual firmwares within. It's not impossible, but without physical access to the device, extremely unlikely. If you're concerned about malware of any sort, certainly restoring is your only option. You can restore the original ROM back to the device or go with something like GrapheneOS, of course!

Does one have to worry about ones tablet being OEM unlocked like a Pixel to install GrapheneOS?
Good question! Absolutely not, there's no cellular service on these devices, so they're always unlocked!
@@CozyLivingMachine thank you for this! New Sub.

It's only the 2023 Pixel Tablets. The older units should have had a different naming convention like Nexus and such!
@gsminterceptorltd theres only one generation of pixel tablet?
Thanks!
Does it have features like making and receiving calls and texts when paired with the phone?
I'm sure there's an app that can do all that, but by default it doesn't have any Google services or anything like that!
Thanks!
Happy to share!
