That isnt right. He was the best centre back at leicester by a mile. Hence united paid 80 million. Its only now since he has been at United that it looks like we massively overpaid as his form has dropped off the scale. He isn't the first decent player, where they've come to united with big expectations, and not perform. I blame the poison running down from the board, lack of director of football, lack of vision and style of play etc. I think most of the players are good enough (although they're not completely blameless) but other factors are to blame.
this result was so predictable. Ole can only win against big teams that let him counterattack. When United get to have possession and have to attack they dont know how to create anything and leave themselves exposed. Its clear Ole doesnt know how to change that pattern

This is actually a very astute observation. I’ve been ole in for awhile now but that is actually spot on. When Manchester United have dominant possession they seem unsettled and aren’t good at creating chances. I think he may be over his head. He finds new ways to not help himself, I.e. subbing off DVB, or just not playing him. Clearly he deserved to start and play 90 minutes. Ole is on thin ice because he doesn’t help himself and wasn’t backed by the board.

Hes a legend but hes not a top manager even if he had good tactics which I doubt with some of the team choices and subs! Been a top manager is also about managing a team motivation when the team arnt performing have you seen ollie on the bench every match he has no motivation he just sits there head in hands winning or losing he doesnt instill fear in the players when needed! Hes like a quiet school teacher that you could get away with anything at school! The nice guy teacher who you liked because you could do what u wanted! Great guy below average manager!

He got us into the CL final which we lost to liverpool, but all this with the lowest net spend in the prem. So win % may be nearly the same, but thats on paper. The true facts are different.

It always comes back to the fact that Woodward hired an ex player who was managing the equivalent of a league one club.
Real Madrid did the same with Zidane and won # Champions League in a row. So there's no reason why Ole can't do the same........
It comes down to you fans who drove one of the greatest managers of all time in Mourinho out of the club and established a culture of player power.

VDB was the best Man U player today. He was both linking pin in attacking, as well as doing his part in picking off balls early in the opponent's attack, he did that 4 or 5 times. He should be a starting player, in any game, VDB is better than Pogba.

When I think of the game ahead at Everton, I think of that time we got battered at their place 4-0 in Ole's first season. Should've never got the job in the first place. I can see a similar result repeating itself this weekend. If that happens, he has to go.

It's starting to close on OGS at this point. He can't keep the "soak up pressure and counter attack" mentality with this squad. We must not always blame OGS for the team not winning who did not come or should be playing. The team is the one that has an issue upon not playing as a team but as individuals. There is no way that the team will win if they don't believe in each other. No matter what you may put in, even if OGS get it right. So the issue is that they don't believe in one another.
I was Ole in (reluctantly) until today. I love Ole and he is a club legend, but he is without a doubt out of his depth. We need to turn this season around NOW.

There is no clear and defined tactical setup; no attacking strategy at all. Narrow diamond midfield setup needs top quality attacking full backs, which Utd don't have. Wan Bissaka and Shaw are not good in attack, can't deliver crosses. Overall the team setup just exposes Ole as a manager
In all my years watching this team, I can't think of a time when I had such little expectations for the season. Just sad and only going to get worse
As much as I would love to have the whole board replaced, it ain't going to happen. Ole and the whole coaching staff needs a replacement including Carrick and Phelan.
