hi i have a question when i apply animation on dff , this will happen : i56.servimg.com/u/f56/18/42/61/45/ask10.png look , the skin and the skeleton aren't fix . but in every vid i watch its not like mine idk why.
@@EmGrise666 Ahh ok tnx seems this video part 2 is all I was needing to see :p I am attempting to find or use 3d animations for a player/npc being arrested I cant find any good animations of a 3d model getting arrested or being placed as a hostage. The only package I found containing such animations cost around 60-80$ which is rediculess. I could buy a xbox kinect and record my own mocap animations for cheaper. So I am attempting to use this as a alternative for arrest/hostage animations. From what I gather the IFP animations are actually mocap animations "motion capture" Thus why the dff 3d models require bones to be setup to use the IFP animations. Will require more messing around with to get the DFF/IFP models and animations to export to FBX and be valid mocap fbx models for unity/unreal engine. If you could create a video showing how one could take a 3d model and the GTA IFP animations to be exported to FBX and play within unity/unreal this would be nice. Though from what I see this video is pretty much showing how such a thing can be done. Though when I try to export to FBX for a unity project my animations are not there as should be just has a take_001 with random animation data. I may have to play around with my maya 3d settings and fbx export a bit. If only there was a free or simple animation/mocap of a player being arrested or taken hostage. Im supprissed more of the GTA SA animations have not been converted to FBX sense from what I gather the animations they use are mocap. I am attempting to create a gta/true crime like game and I need arrest/hostage animations badly so this may help me. My game already has working traffic system drive-able cars pedestrians guns and bullet damage. I just need some arrest/hostage animations to finish off the framework of the game, Then onto cutscene creation and missions.
Cryptic AQ im not doing anything with graphics anymore. This video was created 7 years ago and i dont know actualy how unity works, how to export to fbx, try to search more videos about converting to other engine :)
@@EmGrise666 , No worries this video is very helpful it does show how you could convert and get a 3d model and animation from GTA SA to work in unity/unreal engine for the most part. I just need to properly save and export with correct settings and animation placement im sure as maya seems to do its job. If this dont work I can always go and get a xbox kinect and record my own arrest motion capture "mocap" animations haha will be much easier than trying to extract from a pre made game or paying 60-80$ :p

Yeah please HOW???!?! I want to remake gta 3 but I need to have every animation in like a folder, not in an ifp file.

u have to select all the skin with bones, not only bones

Cryptic AQ hehe, try to find script like cam's scripts for 3ds max. Just search for 3ds to your format script or something that will help u
