Landon’s enthusiasm is contagious. 😂 Looking back, he will appreciate this trip. We drove by there a couple of years ago. Couldn’t stop. Had to get to our next stop. But I’ve been there as a kid. Good memories. 👍
These videos are giving me so much life until my trip in two weeks! But one of my favorite parts has been seeing where you are and saying “hey there’s a geocache back there!”
So cool watching your Route 66 videos my parents moved to Culver City CA. in 1955 from Alabama right after I was born we lived there till 1970 but I remember but I have so many Memories of traveling back and forth every summer on 66 going on vacation to visit relatives in Alabama but my favorite part of the whole vacation was traveling down old route 66 I always watch your videos they take me back to a time when things were so much simpler and happier
I’m glad you explained about London being your opposite Justin. I feel better. I thought he was miserable and you made him go with you. Good to see he is fine ❤ Hi London I remember you when you were little and going to Disney with your Dad, hope you have a wonderful adventure with your Dad You are a lucky guy to have a Dad that wants to make this trip and memories with you.
Marge Simpson said it "You are cool when you are you, regardless of what anyone else thinks." That and as long as the person you are being isn't a problem/hurting others. If that is good, then, be you!
London’s enthusiasm is contagious. 😂 We drove by there a couple of years ago. Couldn’t stop. Had to get to our next stop. But I’ve been there as a kid. I remember seeing those signs for hundreds of miles before finally seeing ‘Here it is!’ Good memories. 👍
Hi Justin & London. I've only been a subscriber for a month but Im having fun in your archives and you two are the best. The Wigwam Motel originally had seven different locations: two locations in Kentucky and one each in Alabama, Florida, Arizona, Louisiana, and California. I live 70 miles SSE of the Cave City, Kentucky location in Tennessee. Mammoth Cave National Park is the big attraction there. Loving this trip , thanks.
I just did a Route 66 trip with my twin brother. The owners are just great friendly people. I also appreciate you are traveling with your son. Family trips and memories are the best!!
I’ve bought petrified wood at the Jack Rabbit Trading Post in Joseph City, AZ two times and have them displayed in our backyard. Great souvenirs at good prices! 👍 Love their jewelry 💍 💎 too!
Justin, you need to make miniatures of your tiki heads and make some refer magnets. They would be a perfect fit in all these gift shops along 66. Just saying.
I live in Snowflake and went to La Posada for lunch a few days ago. One of my favorite historical hotels. I also stopped at a couple rock shops and trading posts, giving the locals some business. When going through Holbrook I noticed some history had been torn down once again. I couldn't remember what was there before though. Kinda glad you didn't say, I get really upset. So happy to see other people who treasure history and that you are teaching your son to do the same. ♥
Wonderful Jackrabbit 🐇 Trading Post history and interview with Cindy & Tony Jaquez in Joseph City AZ. Totally agree about sadness 😢of losing the Plainsman Restaurant neon sign in Holbrook, AZ. Thank you Justin for showcasing the Mother Road. Cheers from Old Highway 66 in central Oklahoma.
This was another great video, being from the UK I never see places like these! Also of course I watched till the end, so I’m really you’re best friend!!? :o hehe sweet! I love how passionate you are about things and how knowledgeable its always so fun to watch!
Very great episode. Jack rabbit trading post is one of those places on 66. That I am definitely going to visit if I ever make that trip. But that might be one. These days. Can't wait for more videos of old route 66.
I love the Vintage rabbits. Too bad someone allegedly absconded with your handmade route 66 sign! It would have been cool for you to find it again.❤🛣️🐇 Giant guitar! Making memories. Tony and Cindy are totally cool! Family pictures are so cool too. Drive safe. "The Good WigWam", IYKYK!!😂😂 I always watch to the very end.❤📽️🎞️🍿📺
Have Cindy tell you the story about that old road sign you pointed out. It's crazy. She drug it out for us and we took pictures with it out by the "You are Here" sign. Awesome!!
6:00 Michael Wallis’ book (on the top shelf behind the other book) that was the essential guidebook for the creators of Cars and was the basis of the Route 66 rival. I have it and highly recommend it!
Michael Wallis’ 1990 book “Route 66 The Mother Road,” is the Bible for us older Route 66 enthusiasts. Michael’s writing and public speaking engagements are legendary and continue to inspire new generations of 66 fans.
Love the Route 66 videos. There’s just endless information. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊 I can’t believe how grown up London is. I remember the video with all your childhood toys that you were showing him. Time goes so fast.
Wow! I didn't know the Jack Rabbit Trading Post was still there! On trips back east from California as a kid I would look for the black rabbit cutouts on hill tops and roadsides for miles before you actually arrived at the place. I used to have a copper key chain from there my mom bought me in the 60's. I remember they used to have a lot of authentic Native American pottery.
What is there to hate on you ??? You are all about fun .??? !!! I enjoy your videos and love seeing all of them .. Would love to see Route 66 and all the incredible sights ... As far as the heat , Michigan is suffering it too . 90 plus humidity is God awful..it takes your breath away ...it needs to be a great summer of 80s around Metro Detroit area .. that kinda of summer is best
Yeah...When I seen them demolishing that old Gas Station I shook my head. Then found out they were going to build another Dollar General when we already have one on top of the hill. Funny thing is they built a Family Dollar/Dollar tree down the street from the New DG. So Holbrook has 2 dollar generals in this small town. lol. I'd rather have 2 Circle K's like we did in the early 90's. The one downtown closed and is now a Auto Shop. You can tell from the old style Circle K building with the big overhang front.
Lol we drove by that on our way to Meteor Crater..or was that before 😂 Anyway lol the guitar scene😂😂😂😂 Having fun that u r having fun kiddo. Enjoy. Hi London. Be good lol ❤
That old election sign you pointed out was from when her Dad or Grandpa? ran for state rep. He was the one who got the off ramp to Rt66 from I40 installed. Blanset is Cindy's maiden name :-)
Yeah the drive on I-40 has not been the same ever since the wigwams got moved. When I was younger and we drove to L.A. or Vegas. They used to be on an exit that served as an interchange from old 6y to I-40. Pretty sure it was in Winslow. Because as A kid I was estatic to see them. It told me that in another hour or so I would be getting out of the car in Flaggstaff for a good while to streech and eat an actual meal.
Some people are just more internal with their emotions. London is just a bit more like that. He absolutely would have refused to be a part of the trip if he didn’t want to go. Have you ever tried to make a teen do something? Plus teenagers… They stop talking so much for a bit. Lol. Plus he’s tired. It’s hard to be bouncy when you’re tired.
London's excessive verbosity could be a real draw in vuture videos 😂😂. I think it's a boy thing. Neither of my grandsons are talkers. Mind you one is Autistic and unless it's a computer game or has gears, holds very little interest. The other is ADHD and he's too busy taking everything in to make comments. I do love these Route 66 episodes though. No matter how many you do, there is always something new and different.
Jack Rabbit Trading Post is SUPERB. What. gREAT 👍 souvenir shop. Our family are roadside attractions addicts n it is a Fabulous place to buy souvenirs from!!! Wonderfully interesting video!!! Attaboy Justin Scarred n London, Son of Scarred!!!
15:30 Love your story telling. Love your passion. If America is a museum, you're the ultimate tour guide.
It's so cool that you are taking the road trip with your son. My 17 year old and I are taking a road trip this summer to So Cal
My son is 16 and he currently answers every question that I ask him with one word. They go through a phase.
Teens are so hard. Enjoy and cherish every smile and hug.
My son did that until he came home from the Marine Corp.😅
Looks like he doesn’t want to be there. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Landon’s enthusiasm is contagious. 😂
Looking back, he will appreciate this trip.
We drove by there a couple of years ago. Couldn’t stop. Had to get to our next stop. But I’ve been there as a kid. Good memories. 👍
Cindy & Tony are easily two of the most awesome humans on the planet.
These videos are giving me so much life until my trip in two weeks! But one of my favorite parts has been seeing where you are and saying “hey there’s a geocache back there!”
Awesome!!!!

I'm so glad you showcased the Jack Rabbit! Those people are the best!!! Love your videos! Thank you!!!
Loved this episode so much. The Jackrabbit Trading Post was one of our favorite stops.

Who could hate you.? Someone who doesn’t recognize goodness! ❤️🙏🏽🌴
Buy a soda on me on Route 66…….

Silent London but he's a good guy.
Wow what cool and kind people. I hope to stop in one day to say hello.
Great content. Your son is the Teller to your Penn. 😊
6:15 London's favorite emotion: Nonplussed!
Very great episode. Jack rabbit trading post is one of those places on 66. That I am definitely going to visit if I ever make that trip. But that might be one.

I got my Zany today. Thanks Justin and Son.

Gotta see the Rabbit. 2nd half of our rt66 trip will be coming. Your videos are part of our planning ideas. Thx
16:47 Buick Riviera! My dad had a White one with blue interior! I loved that car! Never got to drive it tho!
My favorite car is my 1969 Buick Riviera. Love the chrome bumpers the best😂
I bought a 100 year patch at Munger Moss about two years ago. I can't wait to put it on my jacket.
And yes, whenever anybody asks me about my travels on Route 66, I always tell them about the wonderful people that I have met.
Amazing history thank you
get some good rest and sleep well

Like the Route 66 sign on your vehicle door Brofessor
Love the Route 66 videos. There’s just endless information. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊 I can’t believe how grown up London is. I remember the video with all your childhood toys that you were showing him. Time goes so fast.
I used a flashlight just like that the Halloween in 1977 when STAR WARS came out, to make a Light Saber for my costume! 🤪👍🏻
Wow the shop it's so full of rabbit nice item's ..and the places is very interesting i love ❤ to adventure here 😍
Wow! I didn't know the Jack Rabbit Trading Post was still there! Man you are so lucky Justin to have a kid as cool as London! ❤
The Jack Rabbit Trading Post DOES have signs with "London" on it! We saw one there about a year ago and I thought of you!
This adventure turned into a goofy movie. 😅 Make sure to hide the map Justin! Lol.
Hahaha. Had the same thoughts! 😂
Monosylabic! Man, you are one in a Jillion. You are like this generations Peewee Herman. I know you are but what am I? 😊
22:37 Oh, that look! Hahaha
What is there to hate on you ???

That old election sign you pointed out was from when her Dad or Grandpa? ran for state rep. He was the one who got the
off ramp to Rt66 from I40 installed. Blanset is Cindy's maiden name :-)
Cindy’s grandfather was Glenn, her father was Phil Blansett.
I hate that we didn't stop there on our recent trip to utah. I definitely would love it to shop.
Loom? You of all people? Sleeping Beauty’s Castle?
EXACTLY! It was a spinning wheel!!!! 😱
Good video Home-slice
This place is so cool justin

Great video
I remember that billboard
Did they build the $ store where the liquor store was?! 😢
And I'm happy I took pictures and explored the Plainsman Restaurant b4 they took the sign
I also loved the Plainsman Restaurant sign. The powder horn with the words “Cocktails” was one of my favorite parts of the neon sign!
It reminds me of… Disney/Pixar Cars
Was that an old mystery machine oh dang even gatar solo
London is like any other teen. Embarrassed by his dad. He'll get over this phase in his 20's. 😂
He'll definitely appreciate all the trips with dad for the rest of his life. ❤
@@ruffytdog - I learned a long time ago, kids forget things bought for them but never forget a travel trip. Memories for sure.

Plus he’s tired. It’s hard to be bouncy when you’re tired.
Is Lindon actually having fun lol he looks like he'd rather be in 10 other places lol
That just how 17 year olds look
Looks like Justin has a wedding ring on, guess he and his fiancée finally tied the knot
Cool little tourist trap.Tell London to lighten up. He's being a bummer who's draing your enthusiasm. Just saying. Thanks.
London looks miserable
No offense but your son looks like he wants to be anywhere but where he’s at. Maybe he’s just not comfortable on camera. :/
London's excessive verbosity could be a real draw in vuture videos 😂😂. I think it's a boy thing. Neither of my grandsons are talkers. That was a spinning wheel to make thread out of wool. A loom comes next after you have tge thread
