With the new 1.5t/2.0t k series they do sound like a lawn mower or vacuum stock. With the exhaust mods it sounds more like what a honda should sound like which is a relief honestly
I really hate burble tunes but this isnt bad, mild enough that its not annoying and the fact that you can turn it off by changing your drive mode is nice.
I have the type S and that’s what I love about it. I could just put it in sport or comfort and the burbles go off. I wish I could get the type R gauges on my Center touchscreen. I wonder if there’s a way to do that?
I loved the R for a year or 2 until I got bored of the exhaust sound and intake sound. They just lack soul and character in my opinion, but now a days there’s nothing with storage space and soul 😭
Unbelievable! I tried sticking some foam in between the top corner portion plastic piece of the door, closest towards the mirror side but it appears to be coming from behind the door panel itself.
Your pops bangs sound loud on yours with the Stock Type S version , wonder if it’s because of your downpipe. Mine was quiet until I tried stage 1 pops , sounds like yours in this vid.
Definitely increased the growl of the stock exhaust after the downpipe. Keep in mind my valve is also permanently open and I have the Integra type s resonator delete.
Been waiting for this. Every video so far has been with the way too aggressive setting, and never with the normal ITS setting.

Reason being that the FL5 is a global release, Honda have to follow local noise laws. They were playing it safe.

Hyundai lol not saying their cars are better bc all the type r guys will go insane but they definitely sound better.

@@shadtography thats what I did on mine was front res delete and I do have the valve open "permanently". I want a downpipe now lol

Switched from a 5 inch prl dp to a prl catless dp….never go back. Smell is so minimal thought it was gonna be a deal breaker

Already did this.. too much for me, and went back to regular ......I have Milltek complete cat-back non-res...and it sounds good enough for me.
Understandable as the milltek is a louder system.

Yes, engine has to be set for R mode in individual for the pops to be enabled
