Thanks. We have the flashing lights problem on our Splendid washer in our RV. Not. Exactly the same as the washer/dryer combo. We’re going to pull out the board and check it. Thanks.

Just completed this repair with the help of this video! Pulled the board out and sure enough there was a swollen capacitor, ordered a replacement from amazon (couldn't find one locally). After a small solder job everything is working perfectly again! Thanks Joel ✌

I used successfully this procedure as a foundation for repairing my Splendide WD2100XC washer/dryer combo in my RV. Thank you.

Did you replace capacitor? Did you have to have any specialty tools? Do you have a part number by chance

@@dalter62710 No specialty tools. Used a soldering iron to remove the old one and a soldering iron to install the new one.

I’m having the same problem. Fortunately I have an identical machine I us for parts I picked it up from a used repair shop. They didn’t know what they had. I got the working barely used machine for $25.00 And smiled all the way out the front door. My older machine I plan to checkout the capacitors and repair

Great video! You could have actually pointed out the capacitor to help further. Glad it worked, now I'll need to see if that's what's wrong with mine.

How the hell did you even get the case with the motherboard out? I got all the clips of but I knew I wasn’t going to get it back together. I’m impressed for those that could actually do this repair

Joel, thanks for the video....I pulled my board out of my 2100xc to take it to the shop. Hopefully they can repair it. I had to disconnect the wiring harnesses before taking it out as I couldn't manipulate the board out of the unit. My question is, were you able to reinstall the board with the harnesses connected or did you have to connect them after working the board back in. There sure isn't much room in there to work. Thanks in advance for your input.

I think I might have cut some tie wraps to make slake on the wires in order to be capable of plugging them in outside. It’s a few years ago now so it’s a bit foggy. Hopefully you get yours working again. Seems as tho many have succeeded after me.

The troubleshooting and estimate is free so I have nothing to lose......if not I'll bite the bullet and buy a new one. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

I am having this same problem right now. Mine will flash all the lights like crazy. It might start doing it in the middle of a cycle and it will run for hours. Driving me crazy. I really don't wnnt to have to pull it out to fix it but I guess I am going to have too. I am going to get a used mother board I think on Ebay.

FreeWheelin' Hi, mine just didn’t want to start, I never had it do it in the middle of a cycle. It’s like if it was doing some sort of self test and never started, just flashed all the lights. You might still have a similar issue on the board

I actually just remembered that a cleaning procedure is sometimes required on this machine that might help see below copied
      THE NEW UNIT 2100XC
This new 2100XC design improves the dryer section with a larger drum, computer controlled tumble for self-balancing, and better air flow. We found it to be much superior to the old design.
In addition, they eliminated the lint screen with a design feature that catches the lint in water and flushes it down the drain. Nice idea, but not quite perfect in results.
      THE PROBLEM
With use the lint eventually sticks inside and restricts, then plugs the air outlet, making the dryer useless.
      THE FIX
Splendide has developed a work-around fix attached to this post. They suggest running the machine through a flush procedure periodically to prevent this issue. Mine was so bad I had to go through both levels, but it works. The object is to run it through the flush procedure before it gets really bad so you don't have to pull it out to fix it with the second procedure.
PROCEDURE FOR CLEARING LINT FROM MACHINE’S INTERIOR DUCT
      1. Run the unit without clothes and with the dry time off on cycle # 11.
      2. When the water stops entering the unit push and hold the start button until all the lights come on then release the button.
      3. Next, move the cycle knob to cycle # 2 and press the start button once (do not hold).
      4. Let it run through that complete cycle.
      5. Do this twice.
If in frequent use, do this once each month to avoid buildup.
If the above treatment fails, try it again, adding a cup of white vinegar to break down the deposited soap and fabric softener.
FALL BACK PROCEDURE IF THE ABOVE PROCEDURE FAILS
      1. Pull the unit out and remove flexible exhaust duct.
      2. Pick out as much lint as you can from the air outlet on the back of the dryer.
      3. Put a garden hose in the outlet and blow the blockage into the washer.
      4. Run the washer on a short cycle. The blockage breaks up and goes out the drain.

Can you point out for me which capacitor you are referring to. could you put your finger on it? I have already bought this mother board once and it worked for a short while and I am told I have to buy another one as all my lights are flashing. I called the company and asked if there was a recall and there wasn't. I am in a park where we have researched this a little and found that over 60% of the people here either have replaced a board or two and some people have removed the units and have bought a washer from Walmart which is cheaper than the board alone. This is not a dryer,,just the washer. Thanks for the video. I am going to show this around the park.

Don Jackman, Hi, sorry for the late reply but if you look on the video at about 2:12 it’s the biggest one on top RH side. It was originally a bit smaller but I went bigger at the same rating.

It’s 5 years ago now but after watching the video, I remember pulling it out from the back after removing the panel. I think I removed a few clips holding some of the wiring to help pull it out.
