Built during the reign of Louis XIV, it continues to attract visitors from around the world today. It crosses landscapes as rich as they are varied, punctuated by an exceptional heritage, such as the castle of Belflou, the city of Carcassonne or the thousand-year-old abbey of Fontfroide. At its mouth in the Mediterranean, traditional villages, such as Bages, rub shoulders with bull breeding unlike any other.
