Great play through. Net met anyone else who picks this game apart like I do! It’s truly a work of art. A wonderful expression of the themes of isolation, depression, and loneliness. A big thing I always thought about was the fact that in a way, the room acts as a sort of “mother” to Henry too. Its an entity of sorts outside of the harsh outside world that’s out to get you sometimes. Just like how it was for Walter. The room heals you, takes away your pain. Protects you for half the game. Idk just my take on it. Loving this channel! Your personality comes through really well, without being over the top or cringey like most let’s players do. Keep it up dude. Passion for gaming is lacking a lot today.
I almost gave up on this game. I loved Silent Hills 1-3 but really struggled to get into this one. It just felt so different. Then I found your walkthrough and, thanks to these videos, was able to keep going and even get the Escape ending. In the end I loved Silent Hill 4 just as much as the first three. played this for the first time today i was fine with the first half of the game but i did need to start following your guide for the 2nd part. i mean theses games can be confusing to find your way around at the best of times but throw in a escort buddy that decides if you get a good ending or not that kinda makes you want to rush when you have to leave her behind and the possabilty of getting the good ending first try just wasnt gonna happen for me without a guide. but yea was a very entertaining and informative series. really just makes me hope that that new silent hill game will actuly be good cus iv finaly started to get into this series.

I got the good ending thank god. I went against Walter with a rusty axe and struggled and with some ammo but forgot to bring more ammo with me lol but managed to beat him before Eileen die.
I have an Eileen guide that goes over everything you need to know about Eileen. It should be relatively easy to find, just search "rumininlove Eileen guide". Long story short, there are no safe areas for Eileen. In fact, the longer Eileen is with you, the better condition she will be in.
Hey. I finally made it. I pinned Walter and started used the big axe( of desperation) unlike you I did not charge it. What Walter will do depends on your distance from him. I was maybe one meter ... Cool guys. Now I got Eileen nurse uniform I also got forth ending( mother) I also got 9.1 rank( Eileen submachine gun) Jesus. 3 unlocked just with one game! This was my fourth play through of silent hill 4 Now I must get 10 star. And I do not think I am going to 10.2. impossible to do job without saving. What do you think rumin? Just unlocking one weapon mode and all weaponodevis enough for me
Roman I did everything you did and got the mother ending. I got the same cut scenes at the end like you though with Eileen on the bed and all and Walter walking away in day light. Why did I get mother ending. My playtime was 15 hours idk if that's a reason
@@RuminInLove yeah after Eileen at the bed scene it went to the room all being red before the credits rolled. Maybe I need to check fridge and bedroom again. Glad I saved the ending separately

@@dudugg7442 It's might be too late, but there is hope. Door transitions heal her, so walking in and out of a room a hundred times with Eileen nearby might save her. But door transitions don't always heal her, it's complicated. If you've left her alone too much, then the door transition trick won't work. I have two different videos going over how Eileen functions, so those may prove useful.

Hey ramin. Today I finally got the good ending. U know. The main problem is just killing Walter asap. Using rustyaxe alone woul not make it. So. I used 18 Richard bullet( that's all I had. Wonder is there more in the game) then started using rusty axe full power like u and so Eileen got alive

Mods exist to fix issues with the PC version, like the missing hauntings, the botched frame rate in cutscenes, and to fix the lighting. GOG is a slight improvement but the controls are still not as good as PS2. Enemy AI is also off on PC, Walter is a bigger threat on PS2 since he'll sometimes run in circles on PC. PS2 version has everything perfect by default and doesn't require modding. So it's the best version.
This is the worst of the Japanese silent hill games to me. I hate the music , puzzles , the final boss , the escort mission , back tracking, that key loop puzzle, the mid story (lacking in emotionl depth) snd the water prison 💀💀💀💀 I think there is a thin line between a game trying to be difficult and just annoying

Try the shovel or rusty axe, they charge up faster and give long invincibility frames.

No need to worry, bumping into Eileen has no effect on her. Unfortunately it may have come across the other way in this walkthrough due to dated info.
in my game, Eileen was walking super fast. I couldn't save her. I don't know why
Gotta keep her with you and only leave her alone when absolutely necessary. As long as you do that, she should be slow at the end.

There are only 5 revolver bullet packs in the game, so it sounds like you got most of them.
