Nematode

A sample of moss from a creek in Harriman State Park yielded a number of nice micro animals, including this nematode. Nematodes, also known as round worms, can be free-living, as is this little guy, or parasitic. Some intestinal arasitic roundworms can grow to extraordinary lengths.
