I love that you're rolling up random stuff, keep doing it!
Something to keep in mind though, is the players power is going to grow faster than the module expects. So if it says "for 4 players, there are 6 monsters here", maybe do 7 or 8 to get the same level of danger. Or maybe, if theyvstart steamrolling an orc camp, just have 4 more orcs "come running back into camp from berry picking (or whatever) to see what all the noise is about". Or some such nonsense to keep the danger and stakes level with the party.
Random magic items are sometimes the best! Have you given the +2 sword any kind of history or backstory? Seems like a pretty special object.

Lucky for me i use a digital tabletop.
We're going off the map? Ok: i expand the map, and build out as players traverse hexes.
Use simple terrain-type tokens for speed and ease of use.

Ahhh....Players wanting to go off the campaign trail.....
Tribore is 3 days travel away from phandalin, at least, that's basically a week round trip, without adventures, for them to get back..... a lot of things can happen in 6 to 7 days in phandalin area, While the party go off galavanting.
Villages and towns can be destroyed.
    Favourite NPCs could have died.
Survivors will be asking 'where were they when they needed them?'
All because the "HERO'S" wanted to see what's over the hill.
    .
You were lucky you have Google to look up info.

Had to go look at a map of Faerun cause I don't really remember what's east of Conyberry! For all the adventures along the Triboar trails I've had or run, we've never once been to Triboar!

Also, Descent to Avernus has Infernal War Rigs! You might could adapt some of the rules there for their little adventure wagon

In Tasha's Cauldron of Everything there are many magic items for wizards, a +1/+2/+3 Arcane Grimoire, Alchemical Compendium, Astromancy Archive,
Atlas of Endless Horizons, Crystalline Chronicle, Duplicitous Manuscript, Fulminating Treatise, Heart Weaver's Primer, Libram of Souls and Flesh, Planecaller's Codex, Protective Verses.
They are basically all made for a different school of magic, so if he plays one of those wizards it might be pretty cool. Btw you can google them and you'll find descriptions for the items.

Cool video. I've never read this far in Dragons of Icespire Peak, but if I had a place in my campaign called Coneyberry, I'd definitely make an amusement park, Coneyberry Island. ;)

Nice! It's been destroyed so it's the perfect time to build one!

    Hogs are super invasive.

Maybe we can get the players to deal with them?
