Wing Leader Victories, the final part of our Playthrough! It's been a basic rules guide but we will video a bigger, more complex scenario in the near future.
Once again a superb teaching video. One point to consider- basic speed calculation includes climb / dive markers. This would be applicable in the evaluation for initiation of a dogfight. Thanks for the video!! Mike
Hello Michael, thanks for watching! And thank you for the feedback I didn't know that the climb/dive markers were included in that calculation, but I'll remember in future 👍
Thanks a lot for the series on that wonderful game. I look forward to the playthrough of a more complex scenario. I wonder if a plus modifier could not be introduced in the rules for tally attempt on units engaged in a combat. When the last Japanese fighters unit tries to tally the P-40s, these are engaged in a combat against Japanese fighters and bombers: fire is exchanged with, I suppose, lots of tracers flying to and fro. Couldn’t these help other units identifying the presence of the enemy, like some aerial equivalent of marching towards the sound of gunfire in land combat? With, of course limitations like distance or position of the sun.
Maybe. I certainly understand your point. I guess the sky is so vast, and covers every direction its difficult to model. We have to construct our own narrative in some situations of course. As you can see, I'm on the fence here 😊 Great to hear from you Eliane, hope you're well 👍
Hi Jon, thank you for visiting again, really appreciated! I'm glad you quite like the game. With 30 scenarios even in the base game, there's tons of play potential 👍
At around 20.53, you made cohesion rolls for the Japanese but, forgot to roll cohesion for the P40s... Am I correct in saying the P40s needed to roll for cohesion?

Well done. Good playthrough series. Enjoyed it.
Excellent, thanks for taking a look, really appreciated! Not an easy one to film, probably one for the purists really 😊
