Great video Anabel! I was very curious about this one. Never played the video game but I love the theme and how the scenarios work. I'm waiting for Modiphius' Mass Effect board game. That's a video game I played back in the day. Can't wait! I recently subscribed to your channel. I was surprised to find so many of my favorite board games in your library and I learned about a couple of new great games thanks to you. Thank you Anabel! Keep those videos coming!

Hi. Thank you for the content. I learned to play Shadows of Brimstone from one of your videos. Unfortunately, after investing much money and time assembling the miniatures, that is the worst game i ever purchased due to lack of meaningful decision making and agency. Too much randomness. For reference, my favorite adventure / dungeon crawlers are Mage Knight and Too many Bones. Can you recommend a adventure / exploration / dungeon crawl for mostly solo & coop play that has a lot of player agency? FYi, I tried Gloomhaven JoTL, but found running wo characters with that card system too much to manage. How would this game, Sword or Sorcery be if I like Mage Knight and hate SoB? Any thoughts on Tainted Grail? Thanks

I enjoy S&S, the game feels like it is always providing pressure and the scenarios are very different, the level up system is interesting. The down side is keeping track of everything. I did not enjoy TG, missions seemed very repetitive and frustrating. You are right about the randomness in SoB, I don't play it much even after painting all the awesome minis. I am really enjoying Marvel Zombies, you can check the runthough on the channel. The Witcher Old World is another I would recommend. Hope this helps!
