You and Jefanna, have worked you asses, off for at least 3 years. You have to acknowledge how proud you have to be with what you've accomplished. Your daughter looks great and its all the love and kindness you both have shown towards everyone. I know we who have watched you both since you began or so are very very proud of all you've done. I for one thank you for letting me follow your lives and feel like I'm one of the family!!!!!!

Hahaha once bitten twice shy. It has been rather entertaining to watch the progress, particularily like post and beam and sip construction. Also it is a good zen practice for a stubborn man to admit and share his mistakes along the way and take all the coments. Luckily you have Jefanna to help keep you grounded and test your patience. With all the times one of you have come to help save the other it should be saved heart orchard or loved heart orchard.

Well I’m glad to see you’re nose and body are okay. I’ve worked on my tractor tires in a similar manner when I’ve had a run off flat. I finally just started taking it to a local tire store and left it for the day and would pick it up on my way home all fixed. Ah the joys of home ownership. I really like your idea for the barn. I’ve seen that done using storage containers and the results are awesome. Looking forward to further videos of it being built. Rule of thumb. I’ve never heard someone complain that they built a barn to big. Lol. Thanks for sharing. I’m sure your both overjoyed and overwhelmed at being in your new home. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe

Valve core is what is inside the valve stem to a tire. I've fixed many tires that way too. You'll get better at it every time. The bigger the ratchet strap the better.
If you get some teeth on your tractor bucket you'll be amazed at how much better you can move dirt.

Oh I get it and I feel your pain and fear on those big fellas. Right now we're working on our Cat, road Grader and excavator....swing motor, hydraulic and you name it.....*SIGH* When it rains it pours and you're right equipment needs to be kept inside but that's almost impossible unless you have the dough ray.. me... to do so. You need the machines when you have property and maintaining them is a whole other thing. LOL 75 and still playing with those steele machines. LOL Stories we could tell, right? LOL
Glad you got it fixed with no backfires or injuries. Jafana is a trooper to be sure. She's a keeper and willing to do anything and also worries about feeding you a proper cooked meal............gotta love her!
Blessing to you both. Forward march.......hope you got your deliveries and didn't have to put them off.

Your wife didnt do that tire problem. Need to check air psi before you use tractor. Also put maximum pressure that that tire can hold you should read on the sidewall because if you have low air pressure and it can turn that rim it will when you'll walk it off again. The 4x4 on steering that rim will spin tire. Hope the slime works for you. I hope you can get yard smoothed out so fall you can get a yard growing. I like the pond area wish i had one. My neighbor has one just across my little road.

Jefanna, rolling the tire off the rim is very common in hilly terrain. You over steer and the front wheel gets stuck sideways while under power and can roll right off the rim. You can prevent it from happening by not over steering. Plan your turns and watch the angle of the front tires. All comes with experience but even an old hat like me can do it from time to time. I've changed a lot of tractor tires in my day. Normally you don't have to remove the tire from the tractor. You have the right idea's but the simple way is to use the tractor. Make sure you clean and lubricate the edges of the rim first. I usually use old hydraulic oil. I do the tire edges too. It can be a lot more difficult with a small compressor but they'll work. A large compressor will have a lot more volume of air on that initial surge to inflate the tire out. If it's a little stubborn I use the loader bucket to raise and drop the tire to persuade the thing. I use a larger ratchet strap also. Good luck

Probably too late but build a deck for the second container at the height of the first. That will give you more height for equipment with the containers a couple of feet above the floor of the garage.

I happen to agree with you.... if you don't know if its safe, assume its not. Not safe is the key word to stay safe. I am a expert in this area, and yes, I have used successfully starting fluid to set the bead. You can go to any tractor supply or automotive store and get what is called a bead blaster.... simply a tank with a quick release on the air stored inside it. You install the air supply or hose from your air compressor so the air is already going in it... and then stick the bead blaster in the side of the tire and rim, pull the release which allows a high volume of air to go quickly inside of the tire and rim assembly. Watch a youtube video first and you will see that the name is the only scary part of this job... done in seconds. Your time is always worth something so if your not sure even after watching this video demonstration.... just go get it filled back up at a tire shop. After doing this a few times, the cost alone will get you to watch a video and then know its safe to do this. The word "Blaster" sounds like something associated with dynomite.... no connection at all. I have never tried to hurt you or would I now... This tank looks like a small propane tank with a ball valve to release the air .... just from the valve is a short hose with a flair on its end to proportion this air volume into the cavity in the tire/rim area. Yes its noisy but it is safe. A lot safer than this strap you are using... that setup scares me. Using starting fluid is NOT SAFE. I do it because of a lot of experience in working with tires in my mechanic trade. We had to air up tires on large loaders and large haul trucks.... and believe me when I say that I have mounted fifty tires in a short hurry, I truly mean it. There are a good many ways of mounting tires and I have seen a good many. I have seen so many tires or rims just ruined because someone will not get some instruction on how to do or have someone do it. I did not know how till someone trained me.... and happy to see you in the house.
I like the idea of using a connex to make a equipment barn. That said, I do not like connexs for storage or other as most stuff in them on a long term rusts up and is ruined... plus the costs of them is crazy considering they pay to get rid of the many piling up from ship loads of vehicles and other things coming into our country. Depending on how many years of this type of barn set up using them as the walls and a truss of some kind over the distance between those will work for a good many years. Most connexs rust out before too many years goes by. That said, if your area is not a high rust area like the middle states around say Iowa or Indiana, rust belt states then they last longer. About five years max here in alaska making a pole barn sound pretty good. Your own rough cut lumber or some small sawmill around might come up with some stuff that is cheap enough to make it sound better. I think snow load is your biggest concern. I used a bunch of those ICB foam blocks snapped together with OSB nailed and glued to it with a pole rafter beam for a quick set up. I did it in a few days time.

Take down to below five pound but not below. .three pounds. You will find it hard get the tair back off the bead when it has to be replace. The sealer go in after the is on the bead. Water and dish water soap is used get it on the bead. It dry and doesn't you're the tire and bead together.
