Charming, that’s the word I’m currently using to describe this game. I’ve only watched eight minutes of this game so far, but I’d agree that the dialogue isn’t particularly good and the attempts at eldritch mystique via writing is like a basketball hitting the rim yet failing to fall through the hoop. That said, the environments are spooky enough, the premise intriguing enough, and the minor scares (the hanging corpse briefly turning into the player character and the small “child” hidden in shadow running through the door you just came through and locking it) creepy enough to keep me interested.

Ok, I can proudly say that there are many things in the story that I did not understand, and let's not even talk about the endings...
I felt I understand the story in the first half but after awhile they lost me .
