A character played by Barbara Rhoades could make almost ANY gay man straight.
A rumor has it that Crystal feared being type-cast as a gay character & wouldn't renew his contract unless being given a female opposite.
I think it's funny that the writers of THIS show gave Steve the wrong info -- calling Jodie Billy.
He had a brain injury that was causing erratic behavior like heterosexuality and thinking he was an old man.
