Good idea but I built one just like this 40 years ago. Four copper sheets with 15mm copper pipe pressed in and painted with black eggshell paint. One large panel under three double glazed glass panels. At the moment building an evacuated tube system with a single coil cylinder for both oil boiler and solar. Work that one out ?

It's really cool, thanks for sharing! I would like to know if it's possible to get more details about your technology of fintubes assembly, how difficult is to build such a rolling machine? Solar collectors are just great and they should become very popular in my country (Ukraine), because of high prices for traditional energy sources. So if you could share some ideas, drawings, I would really appreciate that.

09:37 - THIS IS NOT how brazing/soldering is done!!!
You braze/solder holding the torch from BOTTOM, not from above!

down vote for bad safety! at 4:50 you cut the headers but as you finish you cant help yourself and put your hand below the blade whilst its running. Once you remove the offcuts you switch the machine off LOL you must be mad! People this is a big no no!
