We're still in a drought here officially in the New York City area certainly and much of the northeast here outside the great lakes region despite getting 3 inches of rain over the past week for they said we need like 10 inches of rain in a month to get out of the drought and we've certainly have had a snow drought here in the NYC area over the past few years/winters; only a foot of snow over the past 2 YEARS and that's total, not per year (4 inches in 2022-23 and 8 inches in 2023-24), so we're overdue for a snowy winter around here.
