Wow! Very nice machine. I bet it's even more impressive in person. These machines are works of art.

Indeed, the video doesn't do it justice. It's absolutely massive in comparison to the other RtR's here. And heavy, too! I've spend many hours restoring this machine.

thanks James! yes, that Telefunken is the pride of my little collection. I've fully recapped and aligned this machine, and even at nearly 40 years of age, it performs wonderfully. Really well build German engineering, that one.

beautiful machine, i can't seem to find one here in Belgium for a reasonable price, how did you find this one?

I imported this one from a very small studio in the Netherlands. It wasn't cheap though, because it's a special version with many optional functions. Since than prices have gone up considerably, but they can be found for reasonable prices at auctions. Patience is key....

Thanks. Most machines in my collection are Teac/Tascam. But if I could take only one, it would be this Telefunken.

These will fit through standard doors, no problem. Carrying it up a steep flight of quite small stairs was challenging though!

A bare M15a weighs in at around 54Kg.The rolling rack adds another 45Kg. Add in some options, and you're well over 100Kg. Build like tanks, these Telefunkens!
