    There are established groups and nonprofits who funded this occupation. Make them pay and not the taxpayers who didn’t invite this anarchy on their streets

      Actively supporting anarchy, homelessness, drug abuse and most important, Mental illness on a monumental scale. These groups and non profits should lose every cent they own and be put in jail.

      Those established groups and nonprofits should build clean, safe shelters with psychiatric facilities and substance-abuse programs, which would really help these homeless people.

    • @chetpomeroy1399
      @chetpomeroy1399 3 года назад

      @Deplatform RUclips Among these homeless people, there *are* some who are like that; who need to be given the option between a safe, warm shelter or *jail.* But there are a few of them who are mentally ill and who likely require institutionalization. There probably are *at least some* of them who want to clean up their lives -- to get clean and sober -- who are willing to *help themselves,* with an initial hand up.

    • @crybully
      @crybully 3 года назад +1

      @@chetpomeroy1399 there already exist institutions that were created to help the mentally disabled -they were shut down. Seattle and Portland are a vacuum where policies incentivize the drug abuse and the population turns a blind eye to the undignified and criminal behavior within homeless camps - under a guise of “compassion”

    • @chetpomeroy1399
      @chetpomeroy1399 3 года назад +1

      @@crybully This is *indeed* unfortunate, *especially* for those who require inpatient psychiatric treatment. I am saddened by the lack of empathy that these policymakers display in their actions. *NO* human being should be allowed to live like that -- those not mentally ill should be given the option of a safe, warm shelter for the night with conditional *RULES,* or jail.

    Your city needs to get rid of all the graffiti. It's just like gangs marking their territory. Paint over it, power wash it, right away. Our city has a truck that goes around and gets rid of gang symbols and graffiti within 24 hours of someone seeing it. That takes the incentive away from tagging your neighborhood because no one will see it.
    We also limit how many cans of spray paint you can buy, and teenagers are limited from buying it.
    No one should have the right to paint their political slogans right on other people's private property, and on public parks.

      It really is sad. 😢
      And confusing! 🤷🏾‍♀️
      Even when I was temporarily living on the streets when I was a teenager, I kept the little nook, where I slept, as nice as possible. All us kids did! And that didn't just mean NOT littering, it also included sweeping away the steel dust that had collected there for decades (in the crawl-spaces that off-branch from abandoned subway tunnels. . . I never knew what their technical name is).
      We swept our spaces clear of dust, and we made nice beds with folded blankets or coats we'd scrounged, and we made things as pleasant as possible, there in these narrow little nooks that were too small for (dangerous) adults to squeeze into. _KIDS_ kept our own spaces nice.
      Why can't these socialist Occupiers keep their own spaces nice? At least not leave behind a biohazard!
      If they wanted to show the country why people should listen to them, then why won't they make their OWN living spaces more attractive? Or at the very, very least, NOT fling litter everywhere, and NOT throw up ugly tags on the surrounding buildings? (like at 7:53)
      Sloppy, ugly, and not a bit artistic. More like an angry toddler's scribbles.
      Artistic murals are one thing; they can add artistry and character to a neighborhood. But why just post ugly scribbles?
      The way they're living there is just proving, yet again, what a disastrous failure socialism and anarchy ALWAYS end up being.
