I believed that only Latinos suffered from mechanical-technological illiteracy, those "crosses" with bolts have applications in machines that I have seen, more than 30 years old, and the safest thing is that all these devices have been used in machinery for a long time. more time.
These are all very cool mechanical principles/concepts! 🤯 I would really like to make some of them, if you could supply links to some of the models for the 3D printed parts it would be so awesome, share the passion, share the love! 😁
True. It's an Intermittent mechanisms or gate which quickly advances the film in a movie camera or projector, one frame at a time, four frames per revolution, leaving it stationary each time.
Speaking as an old machine designer, I appreciate these devices, but in this video almost all of them have design issues that, in the commercial world, wouldn't pass muster. For example, a geneva drive, such as the device starting at around 0:10 would ALWAYS have a mating blocking disk to keep the driven wheel from free-rotating when it's not being forced by the pin/follower. The supposed camera iris at the end of the video should not have the sharp points visible, otherwise (if used in a camera) many unwanted artifacts will show up. Yes, I know this is just beginner stuff, but for those who are learning the craft, IMHO it's always better to get it right. My 2c.
These are great solutions, now I just need to find a problem that fits!
engineers in a nutshell
😂😂 that's very true tho
Love that what u said
is my boredom not a problem to you??

1:33 would be a perfect mechanism to replicate those multi headed cactus things on Mario.
Oh my god you'ra right
Speechless. This japanese guy is a genius. More, please!
This guy's from future...
These are some pretty simple applied gear mechanics iro
@@prashobkumarkuzhiparagopal98 none of this is new or revolutionary, all of this has existed for decades.
I love that camera aperture mechanism
Not apature, but a film advance mechanism.
why is this so addictive
Because it's beautiful?...
@@rebel1766 Good grief!
Very interesting. Well explored mechanics truly solve a lot of problems

It would be cool to hear about the practicality of these mechanisms, and where and why they would be used
I can watch this forever.. Simple working machanery. The wheels of creation is running. Thanks!

Отличные идеи! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely brilliant, I see these concepts on King Mechanical and often wonder if they are achievable in real life, and you've done it. Well done!
That iris design is 🔥
Very best way of mechanisom...
Good work
Wonderfull mechanisms . i wanna make them to show my students
Finally found this awesome video. Thanks, visualization made simple.😁😀
I have received the knowledge of mechanical principles #1
Very good👍
Best live action adaptation of all time
Excelente 😀😀😀
Last mechanism was amazing. How did it works ? Can you please explain?
It you look closer the guy is moving a inner geared ring that spins all the black gears and makes the system open and close.

fantastic
thx !
Nice
Awesome video! Thank you!
mechanikal principal is good i like
Not quite sure of the point, but some of the best inventions, like the Laser, were a solution just waiting for a problem that fitted.
This stokes curiosity, though I'm not an engineer.
I love this yt channel
