Tedward The 540i because it's still a quick, fast, fun car that while the M5 would be preferred, I'd still be happy. If in the Audi or Mercedes, I would be disappointed not to have the RS or the AMG

Just watched the entire video. You said people compare current non-M cars to previous generation M cars. I never do that. I always compare my non-sport package F30 328i manual to the previous gen E90 328i without the sport package. When you compare them, so much of the precision and steering feel was lost. Not to mention the naturally aspirated inline 6. Anyway, I liked the video!

Steering is pretty dialed in... a little too light in comfort mode but I suppose that is to be expected. But you have a pretty good feel for what is happening at the front end. The suspension is wild. The car corners very flat and absorbs bumps and holes like they aren't there. Very composed.

How's the steering/road feel through the wheel? my pop's F10 528i's is trash compared to his old E60

Its a vaaaast improvement over the e60 but It has been a while since I've driven one so my memory could be shaky. It has a surprising amount of road feel and there are also no dead spots when making quick back and forth motions

tough question..this car just begs to be driven for 1000 miles at a time. I would have fun in both, but this would be safer to drive "at speed"

I haven't driven an F10 in a long time so thats hard to say for certain, but my gut would say G30

I drove an F10 550i X drive when it first came out before the M5 was out. I remember being really impressed with the power delivery and the amount of torque it maintained through each shift. I can't remember much else. It was definitely fun, but i was also joy riding a little bit haha
