Looks like some good fishing. I'd love to catch a pike, but they are not super common around here. How are your perch doing since spawning earlier this year?
Yeah, lots of fish. The perch are doing well. The ones I’ve caught are all in the 8-9” range. I’ve seen bigger on the camera, but not caught them yet. Pike in MN are almost considered trash fish because they’re so plentiful. I got a 29” one night over Memorial Day weekend, and that was a nice fish….but the majority are in the 20-22” range. There are too many in most of the lakes. They are fun to catch until they start biting off your line. They’re a good eating fish. I’ll do a video this summer on cleaning them. They’re a different bone structure. Most people don’t bother with them.
Great fish!
Thanks! Jacey rocked it!

That water clarity was great! I love underwater footage and I could watch it all day.
Me too! Maybe I should set up a 24/7 underwater stream! 🤔 I wonder what your pond looks like under the water?? Sounds like a fun experiment!
What camera do you use?
It’s an Aqua Vu HD7i Gen 2
