Testing AC Manifold Gauge On Different Cars - Non-working Compressor, Engine Off & Engine Running

Originally we were going to do unboxing, assembly instructions, first impression and initial reviews but we decided to to open and made sure the kit worked by hooking it up to our cars first. We connected the gauges to 4 different cars (Honda Accord, Hyundai Santa Fe, Civc & Acura MDX) in an attempt to show you the different pressure readings - on a non working car, on a car that is idle and on a car while the engine is running. Basically how AC gauges work for beginners or HVAC-R for dummies. We would've done "everything you need to know" but we are not experts in this field. Aiman's dad is teaching him about car AC system and this young apprentice DIY'er Aiman is sharing what he learned with his youtube viewers.
When attempted to connect to our 2017 Honda Civic we realized that the low pressure port will not fit. Apparently, the 2016-2022 Civic uses R-1234yf refrigerant which is far more expensive than the R-134a that was used from 1994-2015. R-1234yf is not commonly available and now requires a license to purchase in cylinders. If you look long enough, you can find cans of it for about $60 each compared to $6 a can for R-134a. R-1234yf systems use different fittings than R-134a systems.
So What is a manifold set? Manifold gauge sets, sometimes called HVAC gauges or refrigeration gauges, diagnose and repair refrigerators or cooling systems. They measure both low- and high-refrigerant pressure with either digital or mechanical gauges to troubleshoot issues such as leaks or to help when evacuating and recharging a system.
A manifold gauge set will also let you determine if your system is fully charged or not, or if your system is losing pressure at a rate that indicates there is a large leak.

A manifold gauge set will have red, blue, and yellow hoses.
The blue is for low-pressures and the red is or high-pressures.
The yellow hose can go to either low side or high side depending on which valve is open.
What should my A C pressures be? What are normal operating pressures for 134a? An A/C System that is working properly should have 150 PSI on the high side and 30 PSI on the low side. What should AC pressure be with engine off? Pressure will equalize. High side should read the same number. Should be between 90-110 psi.

Please make sure that you ALWAYS use good quality safety glasses or goggles when using or working with refrigerants, when exposed to atmpospheric pressure they will be at the corresponding temperature at that pressure which can be -40F or less, it will freeze your skin and give you frost bite, if you get it in the eye, no more eye, frozen eyes do not heal.

I have a yellow jacket manifold with knob on the side. So its clockwise to close and counter clockwise to open.For some reason when i open the low pressure side, refrigerant are not being added. Any ideas?
