tea please! i’m not a gourmand fan actually, they tend to be too sweet for me, but i’m on the hunt for my perfect, ultra-realistic tea scent and i’d love your recs!
My favourite tea is Dear Polly. It's magical to me. Absolutely breathtaking. My mom fell in love with it too. But it is also very sweet in the dry down so might not be your fave. I also really love Princess, but that's borderline gourmand.
Try Elizabeth Arden white tea, molecule 01+Tea, Arielle Shoshana Monday, and Gris Charnel! Those are my favorite tea scents. Molecule 01 + Tea is the most basic “just tea” one out of this group. It’s a pretty sweetened black tea
a 40 minute perfume video YEAHHHHHHH i love long form content!! and gourmand fragrances are my fave!! tbh i love like kinda savoury sweet fragrances?? there's one pistachio perfume i have smells like salted pistachios and caramel and it's fantastic i would love if u recced more perfumes like that!!
Gossip Girl is a comfort show for me. I rewatch it during hard times of life. Also, thank you so much for creating chapters in this video. I know that's labor-intensive, but makes viewing so much better!
ohhhh!! a series of what the characters would wear! like, what would serena van der woodsen would wear 🙈🙈 eitherway, we love a long video from youuu !!
I think French people see Love don’t be shy as a gourmand because it smells exactly like French Gimauve (an orange blossom marshmallow that you find in every bakery)! I find that the American « marshmallow » note leans more vanilla !
OMG please do a caramel / butterscotch / deep, head-achingly sweet perfumes listt!!! i literally love you smmmm and the way you describe perfumes is EXACTLY how i describe scents, it makes me so happy!!!!! i need recommendations for perfumes that smell like STRAIGHT UP sickeningly sweet dessert
Would love for you to do a coffee scent tier-list Haven't come across many fragrances with prominent coffee notes other than the obvious MM Replica Coffee Break, Polo Red Extreme, Halloween X, Black Opium, Intense Cafe & Xerjoff Uden
If you’re not opposed to buying from a Middle Eastern perfume house, you may want to look into Khamrah Qahwa, Eternal Coffee, or French Coffee. I don’t like coffee in my perfume, so I can’t tell you if these scents smell good. I watch numerous RUclips fragrance channels, and I’ve heard other reviewers recommend them.
I have a decant of lattafa khamrah qahwa and while I do get a strong coffee note, it’s not the most prominent note in my opinion. I get more of the cinnamon and praline, which I do appreciate but makes the fragrance more masculine smelling. On fragarantica all the people seem to get vanilla the strongest but I can only get a hint of vanilla but more of the tonka bean. So take what you will from that.
So much disclaimer, you're on the internet, people will attack you for your opinions no matter how many times you say it's only your own opinion and not a diss... Just embrace it, stop grovelling! Your opinions are interesting!
The theodoros kalotinis part was so funny to me!!! pear gelato goes for 45 bucks on the official website!!!! his gourmand scents are known foe the affordability. NOT 200 I PROMISE. great video btw❤❤🎉
@sweetpeace5 I was specifically talking about the EDP range which is famously all 45 euro!! she also said this while talking about pear gelato hence me pointing it out 💗🫶
Girl I'm so glad I found your channel ☺️ I've been binge-watching your videos and you make the best fragrance content! I ordered 3 new fragrances based on your reviews and recommendations, I'm so excited to sniff them. Especially excited for Lattafa Eclair. I would LOVE more tier-ranking videos. I need a milk/cream ranking, nutty ranking, skin scents ranking, ambery ranking, and a fruity/juicy ranking 😍
Hahahaha “this perfume is a baguette on a haystack”. I love your descriptions and the visuals you paint with your words 😊 really enjoy watching all of your videos. Please keep them coming!! ❤
Pls do a ranking on amber/musky fragrances!!! Anything in that scent family is what I tend to go for. Maybe one for woodsy/oud scents as well. One of my new favorite channels that I just discovered! Subscribed
Hey Emma! Been watching your TikTok’s for forever and just a few months ago discovered your RUclips 🩷 As for Le Labo the names of the fragrances are its primary essence and the number is how many ingredients(notes) it has. The main essence of Thé Matcha 26 is a matcha green tea accord, of course accompanied by 25 other ingredients which is why that fig note really comes through. Amazing scent but yes not having a strong matcha scent that most people expect. Le Labo scents aim to be shockingly new but somehow familiar. I hope this doesn’t deter you from trying more of them!
Also, would you be able to make a video on the science behind maceration? Such as, if fragrances should be expected to change over time (for better or for worse lol), if they eventually expire, and the overall lifespan of a fragrance? I’m super curious to know your thoughts on this
I was so on fence about Vanilla woods, but now it's turning darker and it's better and better. I am kinda sad I'm running out. But my hack for not overconsuming is just let it run out and repurchase it only if some time passes and you're still thinking about it. If you forget, great, one more perfume you don't have to own😂
i giggled at the part about thé matcha 26 😭😭 i totally agree with you, its actually my warm-weather signature scent but its 100% citrusy-fig clean powdery soapiness to me. i guess the matcha adds a subtle powdery greenness to the perfume but i could never pick out "MATCHA" as the main note and i wear it all the time!! people who say it reminds them of a matcha latte have to be lying...
Cannot wait for the tea video! More and more I find the perfumes I love best have a prominent tea note - Libe edt, matcha meditation, grid charnel, windows down, blue Madeleine - really looking for even more
First off, I was hoping to see your take on Sweet Farewell by Strangers Parfumerie. It’s so unique and so divine. Second, I’m sad you have to have instagram to be in the giveaway! I don’t have much social media presence and I generally stick with YT so hoping for a YT giveaway soon. Third, I’m so glad someone finally said what needed to be said about This is Her! Again. Keep saying it. Please.
I'd love to see a milk perfumes or a woody perfumes tier list! Also, I think people who absolutely love Cheirosa 62 don't like 71 as much, and vice versa. To me 71 is THE fresh baked cookies smell. I sigh every time I smell it, it's sooo cozy. When I tried 62 I just wasn't as impressed. I wonder if it has to do with liking summer more vs winter? I'm stuck in a hot climate almost all year so when I can wear warm gourmands, it's like a special treat. Maybe it's similar for people living in cold places with summery scents?
We usually rarely have summer here, but when it gets warm it's always this sticky, humid, heavy heat. Definitely not gourmand weather. This summer has definitely been present and as I'm not a citrus lover or light scent-favourer (like the ones all below), I started to hate the fact I can't wear my gourmands. Until I bought Paris Corner Qissa Delicious. It's the perfect summer gourmand as it's smooth and very light. Unlike most edible accord fragrances. It has the effect of having your body rubbed in a scented oil, or smearing a fragranced body cream. Thàt softer effect. It's like a lightly sweetened creamy perfume with a touch of orange, and a drizzle of chocolate hugged by a vanillic white musk. Top notes: dark chocolate, orange and whipped cream. Middle notes: coconut, marshmallow and jasmine. Base notes: vanilla, soft wood and white musk. Based on the pyramid you expect something supersweet and strong. With Paris Corner that IS a possibility once it's older. It's like they almost never let half of their perfumes macerate, so after maturing it in your own closet it's suddenly a different fragrance the next season. I had the same with Forbidden Sugar, which happens to be a dupe of Franc Boclet's "Sugar". Used to be a barely there scent. Now it's a great gourmand imho. Not a safe blind buy, though. Qissa isn't a dupe as far as I know. The longevity is disappointing atm - though that improves always - if you have very dry skin like me, but I really like the scent for warm weather. It's also really nice layered with Alien Goddess Intense and a few other floral gourmands. The white musk, vanilla, a bit of whipped cream, some soft wood, the orange and a touch of jasmin make the fragrance. The drizzle of milkchocolate doesn't remain on me. But it's nice in the opening. Regardless of its 'deficiencies' I'm still very happy with this purchase. The scent makes me happy. It's very cozy without getting that "crawling under thick blankets" feel. If interested: do not spend over €30. I also like Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato for summer. Or should I say its inspirations 😂. I have Alive by Lattafa ( Pride II line), but the Khair Pistachio by - again - Paris Corner is my favourite. This one was great from the beginning, though honestly I got a 10ml decant as I already own the Lattafa. But once Alive is finished I'll get Khair Pistachio! I love the combination of white florals with soft gourmand notes. It makes it wearable in warmer weather, when it's not too hot. When tropical I either wear nothing but deodorant, or a very light citrussy floral or other light floral perfumes. Think Chanel-Chance eau Tendre, Swiss Arabian- Hamsah, Jo Malone- Saffron and Orange Flowers, Lattafa-Awaan, or Chloe-Chloe/ Diane Castel-Rose d'Artiste. Anyway, just wanted to share this tip. The rest of the info is to see if we have similar scent taste. That helps ;).
Yes please on the matcha/green tea ranking!! Black tea is great too, but I can't get enough matcha. Have you tried Match Made in Heaven by Sorce? It's a lovely matcha ice cream scent. Kilian Princess is my #1 of all time and I really liked my decant of Matcha Meditation. I would love to hear your top picks! 🍵 Thanks for the heads up on Le Labo...it's on my list to try but I don't like fig, so it's coming right off 🙃
this is amazingggg emma! always love your videos esp in this format! i'd love to hear u talk about some kerosene fragrances if you've smelled enough! i feel like you'd love Sweetly Known! Also TV rec: Girls on HBO with Lena Dunham it's hilarious and so well made. Thanks again! xx
I have 4 Theordoros Kalotinis perfumes and I believe they're around 55 US dollars . They do have few in the 150$ range but generally it is very budget friendly . I am loving Lemon Tart this summer!
Ylop might be a full bottle purchase for me, it's intoxicating! there's also apricot, and suprisingly rosemary gives it a cozy savoury warmth, it's complex and unique like all sora Dora which has so many amazing well blended fragrances that seem to work so well with my chemistry. It's between this and Orchidee Rouge.. decisions! ... Mandorle is amazing too. Jany also is gorgeous... You might really enjoy mallow if you enjoy Oriana
Girl!! I would love if you did POWDERY/Iris perfumes!!!! That’s my favorite class of fragrance, so I would DIE if you did one of those!!! Edit HAHAHA you can’t stand my favorite class of fragrances 😂😂😂 I adore lipsticky, iris, orris butter!! PDM Athalia is Queen!!!❤

i still have to get my nose on a lot of these, but i do agree with you on many i have smelled. first off: love your videos, appreciate your insight and happy to see you continue to grow ♥ hot takes: i really wish i could smell what everyone else is smelling in devotion because ALL i can smell is bug spray. even in the dry down, i can get a *hint* of vanilla, but mostly citronella. same with akro bake, i thought it would be a love, but it's just a screechy lemon pledge scent that never goes away. vanilla woods also smells identical to crown royal vanilla whiskey to me. which smells good, but not necessarily ideal to walk around smelling like liquor lol. would love to hear your thoughts on new releases!
I still have the same hairbrush from when I was literally 7 years old and I am 23 now lol. It was one of those square conair jelly handle ones and the handle fell off heads ago so now I just use the brush part. It’s my favorite brush, it’s great for travel because it’s still a full size brush but takes up less space since there is no handle. I wash it every couple months and it’s still going strong!
I love me a gourmand fragrances esp some strawberry like marshmallow scent. It’s to die for! 🤤These summer i am so into.. figgy scent like Dioriviera and fleur di figuere. Omgg so many scent genre i would love to try!
It’s so interesting how our noses perceive scent so differently, I totally smell the Matcha in Thé Matcha 26, like a spongy Japanese matcha cake and please make a tea perfume video! Does Coffee Break from Margiela smell like London Fog? I need a trip to Sephora yo try that one!
Emma, you MUST must must try Tom Ford's Vanille Fatale, if you haven't already?? I don't like Tom Ford fragrances but dear lord this very good, warm dry rich vanilla with a hint of wood and coffee (only slight). If I could describe this fragrance in one word it would be something like "mahogany".
A few months ago I went to a local shop where it mostly sells perfume oils and other perfume making ingredients (as well as all of the kalotinis' perfumes since he's Greek, which I usually like, but they don't last on me) and I found the most perfect oil, named "rice". Does it smell like rice?! Um... I don't think so, but I've been in love ever since and I've already used up my 3,5 10ml vials, but I'll be getting more soon. It's perfect for layering and as a stand alone, if I could only have one perfume, that would probably be it. I only wish it could come in a bigger bottle and/or in a spray version.
Hahah I love le matcha ! But I also knew going in that it's fig so I expected it. .but there is a faint matcha smell in there. It's an amazing creamy scent regardless, it reminds me a lot of powdered sugar on green Turkish delights, but yes le Labo has a weird naming thing if you can get past that
NEED a milk fragrance tier list. If not you, then who??!
AGREED
YES!! 💯
Yesssas
i’d even love a more general ~creamy~ scent tier list
Doubling down on this !!!
tea please! i’m not a gourmand fan actually, they tend to be too sweet for me, but i’m on the hunt for my perfect, ultra-realistic tea scent and i’d love your recs!

My favourite tea is Dear Polly. It's magical to me. Absolutely breathtaking. My mom fell in love with it too. But it is also very sweet in the dry down so might not be your fave. I also really love Princess, but that's borderline gourmand.

Yes absolutely !!! I totally mixed them up with someone else, thank u for pointing this out!!
Not entirely true. He has a higher end line that’s pricey which is what the TK Creme Brulee scent mentioned here is & costs $165

Girlieeee tomorrow we get Afternoon Delight! I need your input. But I don’t do TikTok so I’ll have to wait. Pleaseee bring your opinion over here!! Xo
i still have to get my nose on a lot of these, but i do agree with you on many i have smelled. first off: love your videos, appreciate your insight and happy to see you continue to grow ♥
hot takes: i really wish i could smell what everyone else is smelling in devotion because ALL i can smell is bug spray. even in the dry down, i can get a *hint* of vanilla, but mostly citronella. same with akro bake, i thought it would be a love, but it's just a screechy lemon pledge scent that never goes away. vanilla woods also smells identical to crown royal vanilla whiskey to me. which smells good, but not necessarily ideal to walk around smelling like liquor lol.
would love to hear your thoughts on new releases!
I am such a fruity freak!! A video on the best fruity fragrances pleeeease. Can be with any mix. Woody, floral, etc...
Coconut! I have tried several that get mentioned in videos but still on the hunt for my ONE! 🥥🥥🥥🥥

Coffee Break is discontinued but you can still find it for a short while. Big bottle at Sephora at the moment❤
My favourite Fragrance is gourmand! 🌹🍐🍇🍊🍫
Im new to perfumes but I have loved pistachios and baking since forever. I love to smell like a bakery. I would love a pistachio perfume tier list.
I could never wear Angel, but I grew up during the 90’s so it’s a bit nostalgic for me when I smell it on people.
Please rank spicy perfumes! Specifically like clove, ginger, cinnamon, rum, bay leaf, basil, etc
Oooooo same with the Tom ford vanilla S 😢 I had to scrub it off halfway throughout the day.
Try out matcha meditation! I used up my sample and I loooove it! It’s definitely giving matcha!
Hahah I love le matcha ! But I also knew going in that it's fig so I expected it. .but there is a faint matcha smell in there. It's an amazing creamy scent regardless, it reminds me a lot of powdered sugar on green Turkish delights, but yes le Labo has a weird naming thing if you can get past that
Thank you very much for such a great content! What's that blue bottle in your top tier? It wasn't covered in the video
I love these videos sm
