Nothing to be done. Saddest. The only thing worse is losing a child-or children. I'm so glad to have had ALL of them here--I remember listening to their songs together when they were young! What a talented family and it seems as though they would support each other on their journeys. I recall the line, in the song regarding their Mother's death that Carly sang, "fought over the pearls, with the other girls--that's how I knew you were truly gone" The last part of that is paraphrased, but it was that their Mother had gone ahead to make it nice for them when they "came home" like she always used to. I have to believe, because of the multi-layered sadness and loss here, that they got "home" and discovered just that-their Mother had "made it nice for them when they came home." Terri
Prayers & condolences to Carly. My mom has only 1 sister left & sadly they haven't spoken for at least 10 years. It's unfortunate too because my mom is the oldest of 6 siblings. 4 have passed on & she helped raise her youngest sister. It makes me feel bad that after all my mom did & sacrificed, this is the thanks she gets. I only have 1 sibling, a sister. I'm grateful that we are close & it seems by each passing year our bond grows deeper & stronger. I love you, my dear sister.

Right. "Descendants". Nothing brings a tear to my eye faster than a glance at a cold, clinical, objective family tree. Especially if I am the sole beneficiary.

I can't get my adult kids, family to take me to appointments to rule out Thyroid Cancer. My Dr is so upset for me. Going on 3 yrs I've asked 🥺🙏🏻.
