Those scotch blocks continue to amaze me in spite of how simple they are in function. They certainly have an overwhelming impact.
They look like the perfect solution for saving the brakes and the transmission from failure.
Me to he mentioned in video how many thousands of extra force they provide
He definitely the expert at recovering stuff
Glad to see you finally got the right guy operating the winch and the wrong guy operating the camera😂my mistake the camera operator is right on it’s the guy in the skid that is suspect.
🤣
The legend at pulling stuck vechicles
Was following you on fb, and your RUclips just popped up!
You’re truck is a beast
Yet another job well done!
Growing a family business, well done!
I did the same thing in my father in-law's woods. Stuck between 2 trees. I was able to get my self out using a long chain and the bucket.
Always excited when a new video comes out!
Another perfect length video...
We try to keep them short and preferably under 8 minutes
Longer then 8 minutes RUclips puts ads in the middle and I hate that
You got boots!! Must be serious! Great job like always.
Top notch team there!
nice work. And the video quality is better all the time,
All good!
Give that camera guy a raise!!!
Camera Woman* I think?

I started watching your channel a while back. The pads you use under your wheels to make a dead man anchor for your vehicle is ingenious. Was this your design?
Always impressed with your use of block and tackle.
No this is an old school tow truck trick from a long long time ago
You rarely see it now because new technology made hydraulic legs that stab down instead
The correct term is Scotch Blocks
You can google them and find a few places that make them
We made our own
@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC I'm 66 and still learning. Thanks 🤝🤝👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
better watch that little guy in glasses, hes trying to take over your job🤣
He definitely is, he’s telling everyone how good he is 😂
Gday guys
You are the man and do an awesome job. Every time You do it great.
But Dang if I was the operator for this one I would probably cut that stump out from behind me if I was able to push myself backwards. Save the whole lot of money. But it is what it is at least you got the money
Impressive sirs!
I understand information you can provide due to competition can be limited. However, is there a reason you can't or shouldn't use scotch blocks from the front? Also, I would think the ground would have to be somewhat muddy or sinkable for this to work at all times. (ie..not pavement)
We used them on the from for a long time before we installed the rear winch
The straps hit the tires and wrap around them so on hard pulls it squats the suspension moving the blocks farther back
Which makes them slightly less in performance
On the back the straps are in a straight light from frame straight to blocks
So the blocks are always in the perfect position
You want the tire on til of it and the front section of the spade is an angle that would make it dig deeper as you pull
If the spade is too far back on the tire the angle tends to go the opposite way making it climb as it drags
Hope that kinda helps
Either way they still work well
Just better on the rear
What resistance did you figure on winching track loader ? ,, see you used 2:1
Enjoy your videos.
Do you have a video highlighting modifications to your Jeep gladiator?
Thanks again.
We doing one the next few weeks
Y'all should make a video when you wash up your Jeep the next time. Great content on your channel. Thank you
We started washing it yesterday half way through the prewash a double recovery in the swamp came in 😢
NICE JOB... BUT THE OPERATOR IS NOT GOOD... CHAIN BUCKET TO TREES AND WALK URSELF OUT WITH THE CONTROLS...SAVE A BUNCH OF MONEY...I DID IT WITH MY CASE 450 DOZER IN A DRAINED POND I SUNK IN .... SLOW BUT WORKS....
Press caps lock.
Matt can you do a video of your Jeep gladiator please?
Yes we are doing one soon
We have been slammed busy haven’t had time to
Out of curiosity, do you quote a job based on expectations or straight per hour? Great work using smaller equipment btw!
Per hour
What are the specs of your jeep? Axles, ratios, special options...
We are doing a build video shortly
Holy crap...is there any solid ground in that state that's not perforated with mud & water ??? Lol
Not during the rainy season
Pretty much the entire state is a floating marsh
@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC lol
...unreal!! You have a never ending job !!!
At least that one stopped before they dug it to China.
Use the boom lock if you’re gonna raise it up and work under it
I just don't get why people don't understand Florida is a big swamp
Because developers and tourism have been advertising sunny beaches and theme parks for 50 years. 🤑
He needs new tracks!
Those are like racing slicks!
It’s a rental kinda get what you get
