I used to play this on my PSP at my Grandpas house. Just playing in Bot servers by myself and enjoying every moment of it. I miss those days. I was a kid and had no worries in the world. I use to leave it on the title screen and listen all day.
Me too brother. I was playing yesterday and had this overwhelming feeling of sadness.im thankful I can play any time but I'd do anything to play again in 2006😭
The nostalgia is hitting me so hard right now...i still remember all of the maps where i used to just demolish the bots with a shotgun or mp40 always played this on my psp alongside with SOCOM us navy seals and some other games.... sometimes i just wish i could time travel to that time and just replay this game again this This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.
I remember playing this a lot in my PSP in 2007-2008. I was 10 years old when I purchased this in the Summer of 2007. I really wanted to get GTA VCS or LCS but my parents did not let me buy it because it was violent for my age. So they gave the blessing for this one instead. I was turning Grade 5 that time. Then I played it again in the summer of 2012 out of nostalgia where I was an incoming 4th year high school student. Even in the year 2012, 2007 felt like eternity had passed. Now it's 2022 and both the years 2007-2012 feels like eons ago.
I was 9 years old when I bought the game in 2009 and I have the same memories. I always had access to only the airfield map (the first one) because I didn't know what button to press in order to blow up some generator and progress the mission. It didn't bother me though haha
I never played this game but hearing my older brother boot up the main menu and this plays, I haven't heard a menu theme hit so hard before. Such a wonderful song that encapsulates the sense of honour, heroism and sacrifice. This is what a main menu theme should be, a song that represents the game.
man this takes me back. I remember back to the times when I played this on the PSP. I can to this day recall the layout of the Airfield map. Fired it up again today after a long time. Nothing beats that feeling
i was playing this game when i was 8 years old on my PSP, amazing game, I used to love this theme song a lot when I was playing this game. Now I found this song again on YT, all my childhood memories come back, feeling touched.
I had my PSP for years (and I still do perfectly operational) and I then one day a few months ago I told myself: "You know, you gotta break your mentality of just playing the same Star Wars and Racing games all the time, there are amazing other things out there for PSP you have to try and even better than you might ever imagined." One of the best decisions me a 16 year old has done, I started mass installing games. Medal of Honor 1 & 2 included, I literally just passed Medal of Honor 1 like 5 minutes ago and man it literally rebuilds real war stories and historical events I can't imagine how some of those brave men made it out. These things like these have given me more WW2 Intel than History Books and Social Studies classes ever have. I honestly loved this game so freaking much! It's a pity Multiplayer on PSP doesn't work anymore and I can't Play with others or at least with bots. BUT at least I have the memory and can share the nostalgia with all of you, warriors, soldiers, men.... Heroes.
bro is it ok if i cry now cause i don't think i can hold it anymore .....thank you for posting this ....it may not seem a great thing but some people see this as a treasure ...and i am one of them .....i rem the first day when my dad bought me my psp it was something beyond legendary
Oh man, so good. I was there in 2006- possibly 2007 and was also number 2 in the ranking. Unfortunately, the number 1 had more time than me, although I had already played a lot as a teenager. I offered that we could do a 1 vs 1 among a few observers and he/she agreed. I won and after that I stopped playing. I will never forget that. Sometimes I was even contacted in the server chat that it would be an honor to play with me. That still brings a smile to my face.
Best game ever. they should bring back the online feature.. or even make it for pc with online feauture.. damn ea why did you shut down servers.. good question, why do they bring down servers of good games.. damn been playing this since 2006 till the verry end.. many memories and good times will remember always:)

I’m still here in 2021 of July and came after the 4th despite not being American. I played this as a kid, I was like.. 10 or 7 years old I forgot now I’ll turn 21 in the 12th of July.
Playing this on my PSP as a kid, i created mutliple deathmatch games vs bots so i could train my self to be a good shooter in the game (i usually play on PC with a mouse) and this music was worth my countless lost of times that i've been on this game.
Man I use to play this game on my PSP everyday after school. I couldnt wait to play it and just wanted school to go by because it ended at 3pm from 7 in the morning LOL. I miss these days. I remember my moms friend bought me this game and greatness awaited. I remember playing in games with hackers and IT WAS STILL FUN! I miss these FUCKING DAYS
My God the memories of online as well. I miss the friends we chatted with online and remember the times we made clans and had to put the abbreviations in front LOL. Then the hackers came and basically made the game unplayable without dying. I remember when we use to vote to kick and I'll always be like Vote Y vote Y! Lmao. Man I miss this. Id Pay anything to just have it brought back online.
This game was an absolute masterpiece, so simple so good. It had awesome ballistics and I dare to say that was the first 3-d desk-console like graphics online fps in a portable. It was just mind boggling back then, was ahead of its time.
The amount of hours I spent on this game when I was in middle school is insane. This was honestly my childhood game in my psp. The theme song was amazing. Glad I still have my psp and Medal of Honor heroes 1 and 2. I still remember playing online and how insane it was with hackers flying around lol good times
I don’t know where to start.. I was playing deathmatch with bots and I was dreaming like playing online, because I had never played an online game before. I was 10. Then I discover to play online, got familiar with many players, and I can still remember their names. Most enjoying part was to chat with players. Hackers were bombing from the sky, if you could enter the hut in the village map, then you were lucky :) I was feeling close with the ones in the hut just like veterans in a real war, while our other teammates are dying outside :D There were also good sniper spots on that map, such as from axis hut to the allies bridge… I don’t remember map names, but there were some bugs as well, for instance in a snowy map, you could climb a mountain by jumping from a roof of the house, then sniping people undetected… Also, sometimes we were assigned as GM’s, and pretending like hackers :)). Pulling the grenade’s pin and waiting for 4 seconds before throwing them… Camping with bazooka.. mp40, my favourite… But ofcourse, one of my favourite things about this game is obviously this theme… I was turning up the volume inside home while not playing the game as well, and my parents were complaining about the sound. Since I was playing it too much, my father was hiding my PSP constantly, but then I found out where he hides: on the top of the refrigerator :D. I was putting it back to the refrigerator after playing, so that he was thinking I still couldn’t find it… He was also pluging off one of the cables of the wifi, so that wifi was looking like it is on, but there were no internet connection :D I solved out all of their tactics. These were good times, and good memories. Seeing that comments get hundreds of like in a year shows that many people have memories like me. Maybe we played together once, who knows… :)
The times I spent in bot lobbies thinking I was playing against people as a child was staggering. The whole game was wonderful though, campaign and all. My 10 year old self used to think this was another cod release. But God was it a good one back then I thought. If I had a PSP Id revisit this game; its PS2 counterparts.
I spent hours on this while the old 2000s top hits played on the radio from rock, soft rock, pop etc. I have a music playlist called “The PSP” of just those songs cause that’s what I loved. This game online and off while the radio played. I made some friends but it’s been years since I’ve spoken to em. BDGMajor if your out there lookin for me. I’m right here buddy. Lee Enfield, City Offensive., on the balcony. Think of ya every so often an I hope the best for you.
I have such memories connected to this game... like everyone here I used to play it. I took my PSP to school and we were playing it in the toilets for boys because consoles were not permitted in my primary school. Good times!!
I think I got around rank 10 of players as OSI general or something like that, then got my ass handed to me by the rank 1 player at the time I think he had variation of the name tomato or potatoes but was always fun to team up with him and stomp the rest of y'all on team death match all day long cheers boys
