Mangos been having so much fun with ATC that it took 25 episodes to consider building a mob farm
Thats saying a lot!!!!
"I want to make a huge brewery and get started on alcohol production" - ah, the german is coming through I see
Kinda crazy if there really isn't anything you can do with alcohol. Should be able to burn it as a fuel, if nothing else, eh?
Literally thought the same
@@Nevir202 bet you can drink it
@@trainsurf Was pretty sure he said that drinking it is disabled in this mod, back when he first mentioned the ability to make it.
@@Nevir202you can drink it with clay jugs
Tried to go to bed early but new ATFC just dropped. You ruin my sleep schedule.
I feel you bro. mango > sleep
Gotta be grateful it's only a 25 min vid today 🙏
Ironically, I need these to go to sleep. But, of course I'm not sleeping the first time I watch a vid, but later tonight, I'll be back.
I wonder why he uploads these so late, he's in the same timezone as me
Same
The only having the wrong types of stone around is actually a known stone-age problem. The first people who established themselves in Finland had to trade with/travel to distant regions to obtain flint, as the local rocks didn't fracture the correct way to make tools out of. Not necessarily sure this justifies it as a game mechanic but like it happened. Also kaolinite isn't super common in the real world, normally it requires the cooling of an emormous magmatic system.
Crazy how Minecraft still does not have something like Distant Horizons implemented in vanilla
they want people to play b*drock
@@fdagpigjThat’s relevant how?
You do realise refusing to add things that mods can do forces people away from bedrock right? What a terrible argument.
Distant Horizons has became something I didn't even knew I needed but the first time I saw it, it made me unable to live without it.
distant horizons absolutely tanked my fps (on an admittedly very outdated PC). so i dont think its worth it for them to implement a feature that only those with good computers will be able to enjoy
@@matiastripaldi406 The concept behind distant horizons could absolutely work on any computer currently able to play Minecraft. The idea of using LOD and an "on-exploration" rendering is actually incredibly cheap to run. I can't remember the exact maths off the top of my head, but to have "infinite" render distance can be done with the equivalent number of polygons as "only" double the render distance. So with a render distance of 32 you should be able to drop to 16 but add that LOD system and be net-zero on performance.
That's theory tho, the actual mod might not be that performant for any number of reasons.
I think it would be cool to add an end-game feature that uses the wandering merchant. Just to make "luxury goods" like alcohol more useful that way there's a bit of a reward for automating these production processes. And maybe there's a reputation system that summons more merchants with more order requests more frequently as the player sells more of their luxury goods.
i know is pre-recorded, but still, using the create tubes is not really an issue to have a small blast furnace, since you can basically put more iron and coal on top of it and the furnace constantly takes more when there is space available, so using a tube and putting the steel in a tank as is getting made frees the furnace and you can do bigger batches. best of it is that steel in a tank doesnt cool down, so you can wait to convert then into ingots, also since a tank holds 8 buckets and an ingot is only 100 (a bucket is 1000) you can hold 80 steel ingots in liquid form in only 1 tank block
"(a bucket is 1000)" Yeah, when the unit is literally called millibucket, what do you expect?
@@fdagpigj i expect that putting something for clarity in a comment doesnt attract any smart-arse people in the replies in the future
It isn't prerecorded or so i do think
@@raffaellosimeoli5146 it is, by dozens of episodes. He has alluded to this multiple times.
@@fdagpigj atleast sometimes and a little bit. I am uncertain how far ahead he has progressed but I don't think it's a ton further. He should stream it some time ngl
For the distillery, if you're considering automating it Create treats a 10k pool of liquid as an infinite source. Not sure if it works in ATFC but it could be worth looking into
Gosh I hope not, that trivializes so much stuff.
I'd be fine if it was specific fluids for specific biomes, like water for oceans/rivers or lava for the Nether (So people actually use the portal trains instead of making a ridiculous lava cube under their base), but the way it currently is is kinda bleh. It does allow for underground water caves to be used _mostly,_ if they happen to be big enough, but besides that it just encourages exploits.
One of (less active) Distant Horisons devs here.
First to anyone else, yes we know about trees, yes we made specific option to fix that but wifh TFC its broken cause switchgrass is weird.
As for version, specifically since mods dont go on latest version at all times, the goal is to keep developing this mod on all versions it is now and any later ones. Going back is gonna be harder, but as of now all versions from 1.16 to 1.19 are supported by latest release version.
I've gotten trees to work by including all transparent blocks in LOD generation. I'm pretty sure it's because TFC leaves don't have collision, so DH excludes them like it would grass.
The option does make normal ground grass stick out like it used to in older DH versions, but it's a sacrifice I'm more than willing to make with the improvement of having leaves.
What a youtube jouney it has been. Started out with watching direfox20's ftb series. Then took a hiatus. Discovered mumbo and grian. Watched them play on hermitcraft. This led to me doscovering docm77. And via doc i made my way to ilmango. So glad to once again find modded minecraft vids with some explaining and being able to tag along in the progression. I thought skyblock was peak entertainment, but the create mod is just the cherry on top. Thanks for making these vids mango
I have to say it really bothers me that the arms of the main wind mill are not at 90 degrees
Haha wow that Kaolinite tease was rough!
I had the luckiest spawn ever in my world… exposed large surface kaolinite, and graphie and cinnabar veins within 100 blocks
seed please!!!
SEED
They want his seed 😳
@@ike5276He does not give...
The guy is clearly lying. But the sound of easy kaolinite can sway any desperate person.
i love this series so much, mango's joy is infectious! that windmill is still ugly as sin tho 😂
If civilization is defined by the ability to care for another person, agriculture is defined by brewing.
everyday ilmango uploads is a good day
When you started this series, I thought it was too far from vanilla so I was not interested. But since, it’s taken my favorite even over the sky block series to watch.
Working on building my own server for me and my friends to play ATFC.
Yes on the brewery! Great idea!
At some point I'd like to make the alcohol stuff in TFC more realistic, but I've not had the energy/time for that :(
looking foreward to every new episode of this addicting series!
revising for GCSE exams < ATFC episodes
Been enough time to finish the video. Hope you’re back to work friend. Good luck! I wish you a pleasant session of hard work.
11:47 "1 full 'shulker' box"... old habits die hard I guess, lol
That armor looks great - very much enjoying this series
Thanks for the awesome content and great videos!!!
love it, keep it up mr. mango
love this series! it's so cool seeing you take your MC Engineering to Create!
tried to click something the noti jumped in the way, guess i'm watching ilmango now 💀
This series is going off 👏👏👏
WHAT CRAZY ANTICS IS MANGO UP TO NOWW?!?!?
I get so excited for these
I cant wait to binge all of these
Babe, wake up, new mango just dropped
it’s weird do think this same stage on the skyblock series, ilmango was making the frog farm. the extra content in ATFC makes it seem like it lasts so long
If he had as much experience with ATFC as with vanilla, he'd be building a frog farm too, despite the fact the mod doesn't have any frogs.
Get very excited every time a new episode comes out. One idea for future builds or projects could be recreating archaeological structures and monuments perhaps?
Never been this early to anyrthing^^
The idea of the hot springs water harming mobs made me think of the idea of running water harming vampires
love this series!
in ATFC milk does not spoil logic 100 makes prefect sense
they do have beds that let you just skip the night, they're also hand held, not in this modpack sadly, also you should just add all stone types to your filter within a filter and set it to whitelist. that way when things get "stuck" they are picked up so you don't have to break in urgently since they aren't floating.
just found a way better way to make charcoal.
instead of crafting your bambo into stick bundles and burning them for 1 wood ash, just use the stick bunches, craft torches with it and throw them into water.
from two stick bunches you get 1 stick bundle so 1 wood ash thats 0.2 coal.
from two stick bunches you get 36 torches, which give you on average 8 wood ash and 8.8 sticks back. thats 1.6 charcoal + bonus from the extra sticks.
more than 8 times as efficient.
Everyone needs to keep watching these so he keeps making more videos!
Thanks for placing torches :)
Finally got some kaolinite. Good stuff.
Whenever you get tired of this series or it stops getting the views you want, would love to see a Create mod only series. Never actually seen a create mod series from the Minecraft creators I follow that makes it to end game and full automation of everything. Now, with trains! :)
4:29 "lumber *uhh*(strangely)" hahaha
I think there is a mod for a sleeping bag, not sure if it is included in this pack though. IIRC it lets you sleep through the night without resetting your spawn point.
Thank you!
The spawn point issue you had with the beds can be solved with another mod called Comforts, which add portable sleeping bags that allows you to sleep, but don't set a spawn point down.
… so, who wants to be the one to tell him that the mod pack was updated, and his leather scraper is obsolete?
These episodes are very prerecorded so for him it wont be obsolete for a while
Ah yes, the struggle of finding anything but Iron, Gold, Copper and Bismuth is definitely real 😂 right now I've got 30 stacks of Kaolinite Powder, most of which came from one single cluster (yes, it was absolutely insane when I dug it up), but so far not a single piece of Graphite 😅 so right now I can't do anything with all this Kaolinite 😂
Always leave me wanting more lol
We really need tents and sleeping bags for sleeping the night while not setting a spawn point. It would make adventuring more realistic if we could set up camp.
At this point Mango's not going back to his skyblock series any time soom 😂
It would be cool if you made it a long-term project to map out the world (and be able to see more with Distant Horizons). It would also be cool if you and the other players on the server could share what you’ve mapped out with each other
There's an addon that adds hint pebbles for minerals.
need more! and way more often.
I wonder if you can make a small tank and a pump and use that for water
there are mods that allow you to sleep the night without setting spawn. it's current up to 1.19 even. you're already playing with create, surely adding that tiiiiny mod is fine.
yes! right when i woke up!
if you update the mod pack to the latest you'll find that they made it so that Kaolinite generates more often now!
A sleeping bag, which could sleep through the night but not set spawn, would be cool.
A 2x2 sycamore! I'll never see one of those again!......
crying obsidian should set the spawn point and beds should skip the night
I like the series and Hello
11:46 got one full what box already? 😂
23:25 Least alcoholic german
Hard spirits are key part of TFC since forever as they are used to make vinager, used to pickle and preserve food.
LOL you have never tried jumping in scaffolding with horse/donkey/mule in vanilla?
I probably tried that just after I first got some scaffolding in my older world. But then again I usually explore riding one of those or in a boat, so I fell in a ravine, maybe due to "lag spike". Well I don't use elytra, so...
Anyone know what the "pack respect" mechanic is? The she-wolf that Il Mango slew had a pack respect of 5.
And it went down as he was striking her! It actually started at 6 and ended up at 3.
There's a game mechanic that determines who the "alpha" of a wolf pack is. Highest pack respect score = pack leader.
How compact of an automatic drill can you make? Could you fit 1 in a tool box or 2? Would be useful to make it, go explore, and then assemble on site when you find what you're looking for.
Can't you make a filter work opposite way? So that does not accept the selected items, would be very useful!!
So, if you drop the mobs into a grinder, can you get player drops?
New episooooode :D
idk why google translates this to remove the extra o’s
@@Charlie.djcisnr I‘m having my grammar corrected by google translate?! ;-;
Normally, brass filters work by tags. There should be a "washable" and if you blacklist it, it would only accept the output. Are they too expensive?
Honestly.. this mod pack has the same problem a lot have. It is almost too fiddly. Also... found my first copper while trying it out in a cave, way below where there was bits on the surface. This is the problem with the detection pick thing- the ore is probably right smack under the place you are standing, even huge veins of it, buy the pick can't see it.
My laptop is not good enough for Distant Horizons with 2x2 rendering. I could only opt for chunk 16x16, hence I would see giant rectangular blocks everywhere. XD
If you do make a brewery, then you should have methodzz over for a tour
1:52 Is it the case that in TFC, vanilla Rotten Flesh is always labeled "Rotten" in place of a shelf life or expiration date?
TFC changes vanilla as much as adds its own stuff. Rotten flesh is one example, another is iron.
A bit of a tangent, but I saw a tumblr post once that said something along the lines of:
“When dogs die people say ’Oh, now he‘s in doggo heaving eternally chasing squirrels‘ I always wondered what those poor squirrels did to deserve such a lousy heaven“.
And someone answered: ”Doggo heaven is also squirrel hell, it’s a very efficient system“.
After watching Illmango murder that wimpering, retreating wolf and rewatching the peaceful series, I certainly know where he‘ll end up.
why must you upload these as im going to bed?
Wont unfired fire brick just be...... brick?
mango please please finish your windmill
Any idea when we will sky sky block and scicraft content?
Is there any store type that drops kaolinite by washing it.
Nope
So redstone is mercury?
Does anyone have a modlist?
have you stopped your skyblock series ?
Please finish the house
Wait a second. If you sleep in a bed, your animals will age faster, but your food will rot faster as well.
But what about your server mates? Will THEIR food rot faster as well?
Ilmango you should try to do a Cherry groove farm
Since 1.20 is out you should try to
If you are German and not making a brewery, what's the point?
Kaolinite could be solved by digging out 100 double chests of Shale and washing it, right?
first lol
Ilmango poderia porfavor tentar achar um chunk loader pra minecraft bedrock eu imploro preciso
