Super cool Matt!! Really looking forward to seeing how the build progresses. Can you build one for two adults and four kids too please?! 😂

Thanks for watching. Well you can get a bunk bed system for the front seats that we may also consider. 👍👌

I Look forward to the build as I am looking for a van to convert at the moment. That was a good price for the van, best colour too, is it DSG? most seem to be going for silly money at the moment. I looked at 4motion vans but having stood in the back my hair is touching the roof beams (Im 6'2") so not sure now, I dont want to be crouching all the time once the floor is down although there is the Evo Design floor I guess. EDIT: just watched the spec video. I am interested to know your thoughts on the 140PS & how capable it is carrying all the weight you'll be adding. I am holding out for a 170PS DSG (rare) & I'm only after a MWB as theres only me travelling.

Thanks for watching pal. We were keen for a 4motion and this is the only one we found in our budget. The dream spec would be the larger engine but I am considering getting it tuned up. I will see how it feels when it’s loaded up. Height wise I think with the insulation I will have a slight crouch at 6ft. It all comes down to compromises at the moment. Especially as new vans are not available and out of our price range. Are you consider taking it off road? if not go for the fwd.

I@@abucklife Im not planning any off roading apart from the odd muddy rally field so would be happy with FWD & will be getting the obligatory Alloys with KO2's to help with that. That being said its about finding the right engine and gearbox combo at the moment & if 4WD comes up at a decent price I wont say no.

You mention your headroom in the van, but don't say what your height is.

@@abucklife 4x4 might be tight for me at 193cm 😬

@@PFL44 I would say so but you could fit a skylight. I believe the Mercedes has the same headroom as the fwd version.
