Majority plants a tree in the Majority Rain forest Chilli well worth a thought when buying..ive 2 majority soundbars and 2 trees....: ) great quality product
I had to return the Bomaker TAPIO V, because the remote control didn't work ... but I liked the sound. Does the Creative Stage V2 feel better than this? Thank you
Welcome! K2 if you want to be able to hide your sub away from the soundbar and amaze your guests with deep bass coming from nowhere. Creative for the best sound quality (tho K2 still sounds good - enough for most people)
Thanks, I didn't try but think not - you'd have to use the volume control on the soundbar remote (or change the TV settings audio output level). This is the exact reason I went for HDMI ARC
@@GIChow Thanks for the quick reply , our new Samsung TV only has optical out and 2 standard hdmi sockets but won't buy a soundbar unless it can use the TV's remote .
Welcome! Yep being able to control simply from the TV remote is a big plus of these soundbars but one will need a TV that supports ARC AFAIK (happy to stand corrected)
@@GIChow thank you for your valuable input. I now have the Stage v2 and Bomaker Tapio 3. But the Creative one is half of the sound on HDMI ARC. Any idea why?
@@GIChow I mean volume is very low. In my 17 feet room, I need to use 96% volume on the TV to fill the room, whereas with Bomaker 30% volume from the TV using HDMI ARC is enough. I know Bomaker is 190W and Creative one is 150W but I wasn't expecting much difference in loudness. So I thought I am missing something. On the TV, I have tried audio output as Auto, Pass Through, PCM but no difference. Creative is significantly low on loudness.
@@dukemaximus1639 Mmm, interesting finding. I got similar max volumes from both and never need to run my Creative anywhere near max in a similarly sized room. Maybe check the max volume you can get from Bluetooth - should be louder than you can bear..
That sounds very low so unless there's some other volume setting on the TV limiting it you might be right. Might be worth seeing whether Bluetooth playback from a phone is any louder. Just for reference I never need to go above 60% for Netflix films in my 15 foot room.
Great comparison! It is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Thanks, glad you found it helpful.
Very useful, thanks. (slow down the speech and camera a bit, I kept having to rewind! I'm a bit slow taking it all in!)
Thanks for the feedback and glad it helped.

Definitely a great thing for them to do..glad you enjoying them!
So Majority K2 or Creative Stage 2.1, which one gets your money? Thanks and great video review.
Thanks, I kept the Creative.
@@GIChow Thanks again for the review, and I ended up buying the Creative Stage V2’s for every TV we have, and haven’t regretted it since.
@@brandonmihalik6144 Welcome! glad you're enjoying yours too
profesional review thx.
Thanks!
Listening to your audio comparison it seems to me that the Majority K2 sounds better. Why did you choose the Creative?
K2 sounded good but the Creative had the most natural and realistic sound plus the tightest, deepest and most impactful bass.
@@GIChow thank you!

Not heard that model but the Creative was the most realistic and natural sounding to my ears. It is slightly taller and less wide however.
thank you so much for all the information, but i still cant choose wether the k2 or the creative

@@GIChow just bought the K2
i was thinking the same thing about hiding the subw and having less cables around.
@@luiscordova06 Hope you love it!
Good reviews , can you adjust the volume of these through TV remote if connected via optical out ?

@@GIChow thanks again , looks like I've just bought the wrong TV then 😭
@@topfuelteddy 😅 maybe put it in the bedroom! :-)
Very interesting video. If all were the same price, which one would you go for?
Thanks! I enjoyed the Creative most and kept it - I'm listening to it as I type this btw :-)

No worries, not sure what you mean by half the sound but maybe connect via optical or other connection to check no hardware issue..

Mine at 100% volume gets 55db. I guess I have a defective unit. (Creative).

You are talking too fast, unable to understand half of what you are saying.
Thanks for the feedback. For now turning on subtitles (click the CC button) or slowing down the playback speed (click the 3 vertical dots) may help.
Better get a new microphone!!!
Why?
@@GIChow Because your voice sounds incredibly muffled.
Ah yes, thanks for the feedback. Builders were around for this one so I had to use a different set up :-)
