I prefer sound bars for my setups.
I am also not a big believer in spending huge amounts either, there is some real snake oil out there, especially from some of the big brands.
Easy to move, easy to setup, decent sound, descent price, decent connectivity and no RGB!

The big thing for me about the Creative as well as how good it sounds is how easily HDMI ARC integrates with a TV remote control, so once plugged in and configured the soundbar just works every time I turn the TV on with no need to use its separate remote or fiddle with anything or any settings. I settled on a budget £80 Creative Stage v2 after comparing it (in RUclips videos and real life) to other 2.1 soundbars from Majority and Bomaker. Big improvement on my Sony X95H's sound for sport and movies (even tho the X95H is supposed to have very good internal speakers) and even good for music from my phone. No fancy Dolby Atmos positional effects but affordable and makes a big difference to the sound of even ordinary TV which is mainly what I watch.
I have an lg sl4 soundbar using as my pc speaker. It's fabulous with apo eq and dolby atmos for headfone software

Just wondering does it support virtual 5.1 dts or dolby digital via hdmi arc on those tv streaming app like netflix or disney plus

However, technically there's still the option of using a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle.
Admittedly, not a very elegant solution.
@@Nicolas11x12English , For that reason I am sad 😢. Current and Future generation will need to buy a converter to listen to music with 3.5 Jack so that they can plugin them with their phone for best audio quality.

yeah the subwoofer is really useless almost no sounds..
can't help but to comment that...this sound bar is just not up to par for those who are looking for a decent speaker. I've owned the T40 and both Stage v2, and i packed up my Stage v2 right after listening to it for 5 mins. T40 is just too much better in terms of clarify, mid, and even the bass. T40 may not have the punchiness on the bass but the overall clarity and fullness of the sound make up to it. Stage v2 sounds... hollow, empty, muddy bass, blurry mid, and..just not as good as reviewed by many online.
commenting this so that ppl will not regret like i do after buying Stage v2. and the price for T40 is the same as Stage v2 now (promotion from Creative Lab in SG).
Yes, T40 doesn't have the connectivity options like bluetooth, but the sound is just at another whole new level as compared to Stage v2.

Their Katana sounds like ass. This is going to be the same. Just get two Monitors or Bookshelf Speakers (Powered). Sound bars sound flat as hell. The Fives are a great example of what you should shoot for when looking for quality sound. You only get one set of ears, treat them to something nice and not something cheap.

agree the sound isnt as good as bookshelf or studio grade speakers. But people nowadays need minimalist set up that offering good sound for their set up. You get what you want. Its good to have a choice.
