I really love ink dragging. I watched one of your older videos. Today I learnrned about 5 colors per card. Very cool look! Thanks so much for this new (to me) technique!
oh boy.. I don't have a machine to emboss, or stamps. love the technique. just getting into card making, I have a cricut maker. which I got to cut material was my main purpose. I said I would never do it,cause didn't have the money to do everything I would want to do. But I love this. At least I get ideas from watching you and try to figure how I can do it with what I have. Thank you for your video's, LOVE them. God bless.
never seen this technique before, i love it. I have a ton of the dew drops and never ever use them, going to have to see what I have for embossing folders and make up some quick "make it, sign it, send it cards"... btw, I have been loving sending out some of my cards! thanks for that challenge.
I just watched you make and explain this beautiful card in roughly 12 minutes. I'm now telling myself that there is no excuse not to make a card when I need it (or make some in advance). My bet is the second card will be done before the 15 minute mark. Two beautiful cards in less than 15 minutes real time. I feel guilty (or lazy). Thanks for the inspiration.
Yes I have done ink dragging. I watched your first video. One of my favorites for background but now, you have stepped me up a notch. Thanks Maymay.......I want the embossing folder.
Gorgeous!! Does the Freestyle embossing machine accomodate 6x6 embossing folders? My cuttlebug doesn't and I've bought a couple of 6x6 only to find out they won't go through the cuttlebug
Probably won’t be any long videos till after our move is complete. I’m doing my best to keep videos coming so please be patient. I’m pretty proud of my self for not missing uploads...yet!
So neat! So pretty, and so easy!!This might help cure my addiction to paper pads, by making my own paper (Haha, jk!) I bought all the Wendy Vecchi mini stamp pads I could find, now, I need to do this!! How do you clean your stamp pads, though??
Wendy Wilson doing this technique you use a dye based ink, it will not contaminate your ink pads. If you do get another color on a ink pad just run it over a scrap piece of paper til cleaned, thanks Admin Staff
Embrace it, I do some with intentional lines. Maybe try doing a pattern or plaid. Also, to abound lines try holding the pad as parallel to the paper as possible. Without tilting it one way or the other. Hope that makes sense!
Just play, use some card stock you aren’t in love with it even some old packaging and just try it out. After a few you’ll know which inks are your favs together.
Hi Maymay! Quick and pretty cards! God bless you and yours, Tree 🙏😊❣
I love ink dragging for masculine cards!

Love this card! Going to play with the ink dragging soon. Love that you chose Memento Dew Drop inks as I own all of them.
Great cards! Sentiments are wonderful and your embarrassed ink dragging is artistic ❤
These are beautiful:) I love ink dragging, but I have never done 5 colors. I’m going to try this. That folder is gorgeous:) tfs.
Loooove how this came out!! Thank you for sharing the technique, can't wait to give it a go!

I have serious motivation now. Thanks.💞

I love the ink dragging technique. Learned from you the year you did stamp escape in 2017.
Beautiful!!
I just bought that same embossing folder last month at my LSS.
I’m going to try it!!
Beautiful
Super pretty!
Great idea....have done this but I think my hand is too heavy sometimes.

Very pretty Maymay, I miss your longer videos. Would you make some 3D projects or another mini album, possibly a baby book? Thx Lisa Sinks

I appreciate any videos you put out and I meant no offense, I hope you didn’t take any. Lisa
Living in an RV I have limited space for supplies. I choose the distress oxide inks for my colored inks. Can you do ink dragging with Distress Oxides?
Really pretty card. One could make up several without sentiments to have on hand and just add them as needed. Thanks for sharing.
Love it 😍
So pretty 😍😍😍

Thank you! I think the mini pads I bought are dye based. They are such pretty colors, just had to have them!
You make it lok so easy😊 I cannot ink drag without MAJOR lines from the ink pads. I need help!!!
Embrace it, I do some with intentional lines. Maybe try doing a pattern or plaid. Also, to abound lines try holding the pad as parallel to the paper as possible. Without tilting it one way or the other. Hope that makes sense!
@@MaymayMadeIt 😉 I'll keep trying!
How do you decide what colors to drag? I'm afraid mine would look like mud.
