  • They're an upgrade of the Jabra Elite Active 65T, a sportier version of the Elite 75T and at £189.99, a more wallet-friendly alternative to the Apple AirPods Pro and the Powerbeats Pro. But is there enough about the Jabra Elite Active 75T wireless buds to make them the Run Testers' top pick for the best wireless running headphones? Watch our review here, find out how they compare to the earlier models and their rivals and find out if you should invest.

      For Running... 1. Comfort (wearability over time) 2. Functionality (Intuitive Controls) 3. Onboard memory (It's a shame there aren't more earbuds with this feature)

    • @aawiz27
      @aawiz27 4 года назад +1

      1) Sound quality; don't want to hear anything else but the music
      2) Fit; don't want to have to adjust them regularly
      3) Those top 2 are the only significant things I look for other than style. So I guess #3 would be how they look/how much they stick out. I'm a big Bose fan in general but their wireless buds stick out like crazy which is why I'm looking elsewhere

      1. fit - in terms of longevity comfort, earfatigue, but also that they STAY. more of a stretch to this channel, but i'm looking for something to use for contemporary dance aswell. so loads of movement.
      2. controls - offering a wide range of options (volume is a must) but also in terms of consistency (no touch). nothing's more frustrating than owning tech that doesn't do what it's supposed to do
      3. call quality - really not about owning three different earphones for different purposes
      bonus: battery life (with quick charge) and 😍 app support (customisation, longtime updates, ... jabra's seems like a dream)

I tried the 75t's...took them back and just pre-ordered the "actives" (not available over here in Canada until mid March). thanks for the thorough and transparent review!
    they're so close to perfect, it hurts at that price point. i REALLY hope Jabra will come up with an active model to the 85t, with proper hooks/wings, back to proper IP rating and mono support.. (but keeping everything else, such as the multiple device support and the customisations, anc+transparency, ... maybe could use an improved mic to make it more usable for nonactive wear)
    until then, i'm gonna have to go with a more budget friendly model your channel recommended

    I seem to be the only person alive that wears earbuds for work instead of exercise.
    Which means I get nervous about losing an expensive toy.
    First time left earbud popped out doing yard work. Took me 30 minutes to find.
    Second time I was bending over a hot oven, and left earbud popped out and into oven. Had to wait till range cooled to find bud, which had fallen back behind a heat shield and still worked.
    So I had to replace factory Jabra ear tips with SpinFit 360 ear tips.
    Left bud now stays put, and sound somehow seems clarified/cleaned up.
    With that tweak, I now have the best buds for the buck, pound, or euro.

    • @TheRunTesters
      @TheRunTesters  3 года назад

      Wow. Just so the rest of us know what heat to cook our buds on, what temperature was the oven? 😂

      God watches after fools and madmen.
      After baking for one hour at 350 F, after range cooled, I looked in the food, then back after removing the rack, but no bud.
      I looked in bottom broiler pan, but no bud.
      I removed bottom drawer and no bu...wait a minute.
      Waaay back in the back, behind a small heat shield that protected wiring entering back of range, I felt that darn bud.
      I popped it into case, then into my ear, and it worked.
      Then I researched and ordered the SpinFit 360.
      So I'm at work the next day and point out my hip cool Jabras to a customer.
      They replied that they were very cool looking hearing aids...

Past experience is people saying I sound like i'm in a tunnel or they can hear the cars or wind blowing. Jabra Elite Active 75T? Powerbeats Pro? Airpods Pro?or other? thanks! (love this channel!)

      Hey, Mike here. So the options are ones I'd consider. I'd be inclined to say the AirPods Pro or the Active 75t. Jabra's heritage is in building kit built for conference calls/phone calls and its companion app has a bunch of settings to improve call quality/performance.

    • @TheRunTesters
      @TheRunTesters  3 года назад

      Hey Ronald, Mike here. So I'd say sound quality is superior on the Jabra and they've just rolled out active noise cancellation via a software update, which works well. The Jaybird sound quality is good as well and you have that ear hook design that ensures it's a more reliable fit than the Jabras. I don't have issues with fit on the 75t, but that's worth keeping in mind.

    • @jacobroald
      @jacobroald 4 года назад +2

      There is two difference between them. the IP rating (55 v 57) and the coating on case and buds. The active has a rubber coating who gives a better grip. The 75 elite have a harder plastic. Think of the old mouse ball and the mouse itself.

    What about the grip of the buds? I thought these buds were less polished then the Elite 75t. I expect the Elite Active 75t to stay in your ear better even when sweating because of that? I have the Elite 65t and due to the smooth surface they sometime slip out of my hands while putting them back into the case. How's that with the Elte Active 75t?

    I got these 1 week ago. I replaced the tips, because they made the inside of my ears itch. So far I’m on the fence. I’m kinda disappointed with the sound and functions. I own a pair of Apple Air pods. The apple buds fit my ears better. I’m kinda disappointed with this product. I hate the function of the Jabra. I’m hoping the software update comes sooner. I’m sticking with the Apple air pods for now. Apple is a lot easier to use.

      That's interesting. Did you replace the tips for other from another brand? We've heard of some of the silicone watch straps causing skin reactions. What functions do you dislike?

      Im not trying to bash Jabra. I’m just pointing out some of my issues. I’m still getting the hang of using them. My biggest issue that I have is, constantly touching the buttons when I adjust them. I know It’s user error, but it is extremely annoying. The other issue that I’m having, is the opinion of removing the left bud, doesn’t always pause the music. It only works sometimes. Maybe a faulty set or a software bug. My Air pods are just as loud and a bit more comfortable in my opinion. I did replaced the tips with misodiko brand. My ears stopped itching, so that’s a plus. I got my set from Best Buy, so I know they are authentic. I have some wired ur beats that sound just as good. I’m keeping them, but in my opinion not much difference between the air pods. The biggest difference is the noise canceling and the eq app. I’m also not getting the 7 and half hrs. More like 5. They are new so, maybe they need some break in time. Let me know if I’m doing something wrong. I have the latest version of the software. I was thinking of exchanging them, but I really want too love them. I watched all the reviews on here, everyone loves them. That’s why I bought them. Edit: I’m currently experiencing connection loss. My phone is on me., So I don’t know what the cause of this.

      Hi, (Kieran here...) this is a pretty close run thing because there are strengths and weaknesses to both. Between the four us we have different opinions on these. I prefer the Vista for the wing-tip fit , more run-friendly case, cheaper price, custom EQ and faster rapid charge. Though Michael and Tom feel the sound is better on the Jabra, you get a bigger buds - and case + buds - battery life. And you get a HearThru mode on the Jabra too.

    • @TheRunTesters
      @TheRunTesters  4 года назад +1

      Hey (Mike here). Just to add to what Kieran says, these are two really great options for runners. I've used both a fair amount of time and they've been great to use. What has me going back to the Elite Active's is the sound quality, just because I prefer the power they give you. You still great sound on the Vistas, just not as much of the power in my opinion. Both fair really well as far as fit and battery in concerned.

    My $50 pair of J Lab Go Air's have been more reliable and trustwothy than these crap Jabras.. The earbuds work then dont work, sometimes it wont pair at all, the sound is low, not impressed with them at all, not worth the hype or price at all.
