This configuration does not have the Lithium Freedom package so in order to run the A/C the engine does need to be running. If interested, we can definitely order a custom-built van to your needs, including the Lithium Freedom package.
Many of our customers choose to purchase a hitch mounted pod when their storage needs exceed the van's capabilities. We do carry a line of storage pods that work very well for this purpose. I may have missed it but where exactly do you put the luggage for 8 people on that long trip with no roof rails or even access to the roof?
