Is it less efficient to play the pepsi lick with downward and then upward pickslanting instead of upward and then downward pickslanting (the way you do it)? It feels more natural for me this way. It does not really matter as long as the pickslants are alternating for each string, right?

At a certain tempo, definetly! Your pick will stuck between the string and you will have more movement to bring your pick to the other string in pickslant logic
