Great find - shame previous owner was cheated by unscrupulous mechanics.

Reputable you say ?! More like repulsive and ridiculous I know nothing at all about diesels just the basic maintenance on our farm tractors and nearly every truck I drove was a gas job It's 4 AM here which is my on going sleep pattern problem but even this early this sort of blatant wilful stupidity sets my blood on simmer anyway it's a nice looking rig and I'm glad it finally found it's way into some hands that know what they are dong another good video thanks but you keep me so off step because I never know what you're going to pull out of your box of surprises thanks again

LOL Reputable doesnt mean much nowadays, it's kind of subjective. You have to fell for this fella and wonder if this shop was kind of going to him and saying oh your having a problem still well let us do this......oh your still having a problem still well let us do this...oh your having a problem still well let us do that...oh your having a problem still well let us try this...oh your having a problem still well let us try that... and 5k later issues sill no fix and the poor guys bank account is getting drained and his vehicle is no better off than before.
And look at all the other issues, broken FICM pieces, bolts missing, incorrect bolts in incorrect places, bolts missing and that seems to only be the beginning, like I dont see any pride in workmanship at all. Like it almost looks like it was someone they grabbed off the street and said here just put this back together and we will give you 50 bucks...
With the price of these right now, you could easily do some body work a little paint work clean it up and make a killing on it if you didn't want to keep it and if you wanted to keep it well you got a fine excursion to toll around in for a while and can easily get your money out of it one day when you do want to sell it down the road

I just couldn’t believe my eyes that somebody would let It leave there shop like that I honestly feel so bad for the guy bought it from because he love the truck but he couldn’t afford to keep fixing it

@@jpsgarage2020 That is the horror story a lot of 6.0 owners faced , a lot of guys that had trucks / SUV's that weren't mechanically inclined that loved their vehicles but were taken them to the dealer back in the day that didnt know what the hell they were doing when they first came out or o shops then that faced the same thing or that got into the financial rabbit hole rhat couldn't afford to keep throwing money at them.... nowadays it is a lot better there is a lot of good shops out there, but there are a lot of shops that claim they know what to do but have no idea what they are doing, and this shop where this excursion was at is a prime example of that
I would rather have a shop tell me hey we dont have the knowledge with this engine but this shop does rather than a parts chucker that has no clue what they are doing that wants just keep charging you and o fixing the problem, I am surprised the guy didn't let him have apiece of his mind.I dotn know if they did all the damage to the FICm etc... but boy there is alo that leave one to wonder whoever was under the hood shouldn be monkey around under there because they probably caused more damage then they needed to with their mechanic work
