👏DO 👏NOT 👏PRANK 👏RETAIL 👏WORKERS
They deal with enough crap as is
Fax bro
As a former retail worker.. Just don't... 💀
👏PLAP👏PLAP👏PLAP👏
They can't leave, they can't walk away, they don't get paid nearly enough to deal with how much some of the public mistreats them so don't make it worse.
Agree! Now try explaining this to a bunch of spoiled narcissist kids who never worked a day in their lives. Obviously they got way too much time in their hands to film themselves making others lives miserable.
You prank your friends. Anything done to strangers is harassment.
A-f******-men! Truth!!
I already told my friends 'don't prank me. Life is stressful enough as it is'
Perfect statement about this topic
Yall are annoying asf 💀 uk the odds of getting pranked at work . Yall complain about anything . Stfu and have a good time
There’s a difference between harmless and fun pranks and just embarrassing people for content. It’s not funny, it’s sad.
My idea of a good prank is putting googly eyes on everything in the fridge, it's hilarious and no one gets hurt.
I love that idea 😂@@amberlytheharpyqueen
Impractical jokers are the only people who get a pass on prank content, mostly because it's them getting pranked not the public! 😂
😂🤣so true
Yea they did it in a way where no one got hurt or harassed.
@@DAMIENDMILLSwell there was a couple close calls😂
I think it's also worth mentioning that they had more restrictions because they're a TV show. They had to ask people to sign releases in order to be allowed to use the footage, so if anyone actually was really upset by the situation they likely never aired those.
Agreed! They're the best.
As a retail person, for the love of everything holy don’t prank us… it’s truly disrespectful and I’m there to get a paycheck, not for games. I feel like this could go a very wrong way and get someone fired even when not the employees fault….
Yeah, an employee would definitely get in trouble if their manager thinks that they are hitting on customers.
What? You're not looking to date random customers who are also there to shop and not try to date random employees?

💀 it would be a once in a lifetime thing to get pranked at work one day outa ur life . Learn to enjoy life 😂 . Just laugh a lil .
Ur pfp is my fav meme pic ever since yearsssss
I was morbidly obese in high school, and the biggest prank a person could play was to ask me out. The first time, I got stood up. The next few times I tried to ignore it and had people running up to me in the hallway and screaming that they had to cancel our date because I was too fat. I knew the bullies were planning something awful got graduation, so I didn’t go. It caused a huge fight with my mom who didn’t understand because I didn’t want to admit what people were saying and going to be on a daily basis.
Years later, I lost the weight, got a tummy tuck and genuinely love my body. I thought that would turn things around, but I’ve never dated. I still can’t date. When I get asked out, my knee-jerk reaction is that it’s a joke and I start having a panic attack. The couple times I’ve tried to force myself, thinking the feeling would lessen with time, it didn’t. So now I’m a 36 year old virgin with two dogs. In large part because of a prank like this one.
I freaking hate bullies. I'm sorry you have had such a terrible impact on your life. I really wish people realized how much their behavior can truly damage another person's life. I hope one day you meet a person who deserves to be trusted with your heart!
This makes me so sad. I'm glad you have dogs though, they're better company than humans anyway. ❤️
Sounds like ur playing the victim without taking accountability. How do i know? Cause I did the same thing. Read cant hurt me by goggins. Its never too late
I know how you feel. I’m only a couple years behind you and in a similar boat. Being the chubby daughter of a narcissistic mother really instills some things in you.
At least dogs offer unconditional love no matter what!
@@SyntaxWyntax "I did the same thing which means everyone who does it thinks exactly like I do and I know exactly what they're thinking because I can read the minds of strangers on the internet 🤓🤓"
Not only cringy, but cruel.
cringuel.. it don't roll off the tongue well
As a fat girl in highschool I would absolutely cry if in my adulthood someone once again asked me out as a joke. 😬
Your gorgeous
so sorry I was only tryna look at your pic but accidentally went to your channel and subsequently your third playlist and I met each other's gaze.. I was shocked. SHOCKED. in a good way though.
Ok but can I ask you out for realsies tho? 😭❤️
Oh no, as a retail worker with severe social anxiety, this horrifies me. It brings me back to when I was a kid and people would do this to people they considered less attractive as a joke. I got way more attractive as I got older, but I was an ugly kid and to this day I'm still extremely suspicious of compliments for this reason.
SAME
Yes, this is exactly why this bothers me too! That happened to me a lot in middle/high school, since I was the quiet chubby girl and an easy target. If this “prank” happened to me now as an adult, I’m positive it would make me feel like I’m that awkward kid being bullied all over again (especially if I saw it was being filmed on someone’s phone). I feel terrible for those store employees getting roped into these pranks, they absolutely aren’t getting paid enough to deal with this.
Oh man flashbacks be hitting me. I was the awkward one who was really sensitive so I definitely relate. I still don't believe my husband when he says I look good, & we've been together for over 11 years
Total cringe, my response would ( asva retail worker) not harm the actual unsuspecting customer...however the prankster would get removed.
Total loser who would respond to this negatively: "it's content 😂". Absolute garbage.
I worked in retail for 15yrs before I was able to escape - the only thing I'd be doing in this situation is radio-ing for security. This is harassment in the workplace, of both employees and genuine customers. Nothing funny about it at all
The amount of people mindlessly telling them to do more is staggering bro...wtf is wrong with people that makes them think retail workers are just some NPCs you can mess with for your own entertainment.
Poor parenting and sheer ignorance! Hope all these people cheering them on end up having to work in retail and having to deal with the people they've cheered on, in addition to all the other nightmare people in public!
@@alb91878I like to think that these fans are mostly children who will eventually work these jobs for at least a few months. These pranks are only going to get worse so they will get theirs
This. They don’t think of other people as people.
These "content creators" pay for bots to comment on their videos (that's why all the comments are very similar and generic enough) so their videos get into the recommended section more based on the number of comments.
Prank content channels radiate "Smoll PP" energy.
It gives "peaked in high school" energy too 🤧
*peaked in elementary school
@@DILFDylF peaked in preschool
Petition to change "smol pp" to "dinky dick" because it sounds better and isn't purposely misspelled
Surprised no one has said “peaked at birth”.
I got pranked by some kids who ordered a pizza just so they could record my reaction to them not paying for it. Kid, my leg is inflamed by an electrical burn and I got no health insurance for it. I'm paying for this pizza. It belongs to me now. Ain't got no time for that.
They didn't even get pizza 😅
If you live in America, google the closest non-profit hospital. Go to their payment section on the website to make sure, but all non-profit hospitals (should) have to forgive any bill you accrue, or at least do a sliding gradient discount, if you make under 400% of the poverty level.(poverty level x 4) The website will have a chart.
As an ex fast food worker, please never ever make romantic or sexual advances on any retail/food service worker ever. Anytime I was ever in a situation like this, it made it extremely uncomfortable because I was forced to behave in a kind manner despite me hating the entire situation, which is very dehumanizing and these people don't get paid enough to deal with it!
Edit: I didnt even put two and two together but this is fully sexual harassment from the general public in the workplace which is a wild thing and something you wouldn't expect to ever have to complain to HR about.
I would say there is one small loophole here- if you write your number down, introduce yourself briefly, hand the number over, and then immediately leave. There's no peer pressure of anyone around you watching and waiting for your answer, there's no threat of this person doing something nefarious with your number as they've given theirs instead, and you fully have the ability to just throw it out when they're gone and never interact with them again. Someone came very close to this once, except he asked permission first and that... that part was awful. Bro wouldn't take "I don't really want a relationship right now" as an answer. If he'd just skipped to the handing me the paper, I might've given him more of a chance.
As a retail worker, i hate this. Theyre the types that dont even buy anything from the stores they make "content" in.
If that happens in our store, i immediately go to the manager, and we mark those types down for harassment and ban them from the store. And give them a tresspass notice.
We have cameras everywhere and we give the footage to the police so they are aware of them and inform other stores of the public nuisances and they hopefully ban them too.
Great. Now I, as a retail worker, has a genuine reason to not help someone unless I know explicitly what you need
Great, I already can’t find anything in the store, now they’re gonna make it to where no one wants to help. Way to go.
We just keep winning with society and social media, don't we?
Their is a huge difference between a prank and being an a**/annoying too.
“We shoulda canceled pranks after Whoopee cushions” 🤣💕
Can’t beat classic whoppee cushion
"sir, filming is not allowed in our store espeically other customers and harrassing them, pls put your phone down" and walk away that's my reaction
People bringing someone to someone else and going "my friend likes you" is literally something that happened to me constantly in middleschool and freshman/sophomore year of highschool. It's a form of bullying. It makes the victim feel worthless and like no one actually likes them because every time someone "likes you" it's just someone being a dick. At least it did for me. I didn't even believe a friend of mine when he told me another friend liked me, because I assumed he was just heing an asshole- but he was telling the truth.
THIS someone was pranked to ask me out in middle school and i def fell for it he was really cute the next day his friend came up to me and was like "you know he is joking right? Like your fat and ugly" n at the time i laughed it off but know i cried hard that night and clearly thing of it to this day lmao
Wow. The workday already sucks in retail and now i have to keep my eyes open for these idiots. I can promise you, retail workers tend to have a very high social anxiety thanks to their job and this """prank"""" will not help at all.
Exactly why I got out of retail.
I’m so glad I got out of retail before this became a thing
I used to get yelled and cussed at by customers. Like, people.. I am no Dollar General..! I just work here..
I found a better job.
I'm so glad I quit working retail before tiktok came around. Used to work Walmarts phonecalls and I got enough dumb pranks from those, leave retail workers alone. People who prank retail workers are people who don't know how to actually be funny or charismatic and target the workers who could literally be fired for reacting wrong
I would gladly watch a channel where people do small nice things, like randomly complimenting someone's appearance/clothes, opening doors for the elderly, giving up a seat on the bus for someone who needs it, etc. It feels like people need to be reminded what the most basic decent behavior is.
Isn’t that what Mr beast did/does. I think I recall seeing a video or two in his early days when he’d prank people by giving them a huge tip on a pizza delivery.
Videos of people petting stray cats pop off. So much easier, too.
YES!!!! I HATE IT TOO!!!
Me and my husband in TikTok 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@user-ec3rm9wr1non. You're not in TikTok like it's a vortex
I used to work retail and I absolutely hated all these pranks. Just let me do my job and stop trying to become TikTok famous.
My social skills couldn't do this, I'd dig myself a hole trying to explain my way out.
Best thing you can do is just walk away the second you realize what’s going on. The more you talk the more shitty content they get
I'd marry them. Less awkward
I have an easy out. I wear my wedding ring on my finger all day every day. Give prank dude a glare, raise left hand to show ring, say deadpan, "I'm married," and then walk away. Makes it very clear to prank dude that I think he's an ass, gives him very little "reaction content," and also makes it clear to the customer that the prank dude is a filthy liar and they were indeed NOT being hit on by an employee.
Please don't do this, but if you must, at the very least use a friend to act as a "random customer" so nobody reports to the manager about employees flirting with them, or run the risk of friends/significant others getting aggressive. It's all fun and games until an innocent employee ends up with a punch in the face as thanks for taking his time to help a customer in need. Also be sure to clarify it was just a prank, in case the employee had a significant other that over heard the interaction.
when Dane said "what that thang do?!" hahahahaha. I seriously love him 🤣
The best thing about prank channels is that you two react to them because the commentary is actually more amusing than these pranks.
I had people pull this exact prank on me all the time in elementary school. There is a deep-rooted hatred for this specific joke burried in my soul.
I had some asshole kids try that with me. I didn't work at the store but they thought they'd be funny any way. It wasn't funny when it backfired on them as I called them out for it. This was years before this stupidity became an internet fad.
I didn't connect the dots yet untill I read your comment, same thing happened to me. Some idiot telling me a girl was into me and trying to get me to go talk to her I was just shrugging it off and I only figured out 'the prank' when he said the same things about a completely different girl. That means this 'new trend' is almost 20 years old
@@frostdemen1 Sadly you must be young - very young. This is an old prank that has been around for more than seventy years! This is nothing new. Why is “asking for my friend” coming back? I thought that was middle school shit. My boyfriend DJ’s the bar, I went out with him last night. He had a girl come up and do the “my friend thinks your cute can she have your number” and I had a guy with the same story 😭😂
I had the same happen to me as a barista when I was 19.. guy asked for his friend who was sitting in the back awkwardly 😭 mans looked like he was nearing 30, I lied and said I was taken. Better than the middle aged man who asked if I wanted to get out of the pet shop I was working at and go take a ride on his motorcycle tho
@@meagenberstecher2713 bro I feel 😭😭
A guy I liked did that to me in highschool. We had already gone on a date, then he said let's be friends, then he changed his mind, and then he had his friend ask me out again for him. It backfired. It was much easier saying no to his friend than it would have been to say no to him.
The dude should turn it around. And be like "bro look i know your shy but saying i want her number so you can get it is just sad."
Hmmm, that could be taken as harassment and they could be reported to management and fired.
5:48 when he said "I already fear going to the store now I gotta worry about people doing this" had me dying 😂
this is how you get people fired, prank the wrong person and they can complain to their manager
Ken uploading is always the best part of the day
Right? I literally wait everyday for that notification❤
I am so glad I no longer work in retail or any sort of hospitality/customer facing job.
I could never stand pranks, even to this day. Being autistic makes it so much worse because I can never fully grasp what’s happening until someone explicitly tells me, and even then me being aroace I feel bad turning people down.
Pranks used to be about confusing people or trying to make them laugh. Now they're just trying to either piss people off or make them think they're about to die.
I hate the prank videos when they use snakes to scare people. Like in drive thrus. Like snakes already have a bad reputation, please stop.
What if I told you they have that reputation for a reason?
@danthemankhan no, snakes don't. It's because of an absurd amount of misinformation. Its ridiculous.
@danthemankhan snakes are misunderstood. They make amazing pets. Take care of pests and are not aggressive and only defensive. Also snake venom is used in cancer research. So they shouldn't be used to instill more fear in people.
@@hillaryupperman6935 People are instinctively afraid of snakes, studies have shown small babies' brains activate the fear response when they are shown videos of snakes. When they are far too young to know what they are looking at.

The only prank I liked recently was a professional body builder pretended to be a cleaner in a gym and he would ask if he could move a weight to mop underneath it, and then lift the weight with 1 arm that these people were lifting with 2 arms/their whole bodies. Completely harmless, guy talked to the people afterwards and all was chill.
Also on the topic of workers getting in trouble, my dad worked in a store and he said "see you later sweetie" and the regional manager was instore and pulled my dad up about it. He was like, that was my daughter (he didn't serve me as per the rules he just said bye to me xD).
Kind of reminds me of that talk show that had 2 guys on the show. 1 of the guys was gay and had a crush on the other, so the show basically outed him while saying he had a crush on the other dude. The other dude seemingly played it off cool, saying he just wasn't into him or gay. The dude that got outed was respectful, too. Later on the news AFTER the show, suddenly the dude that was outed had gotten murdered. BY the dude he had a crush on.
God damn, he was just faking everything on camera but he actually wanted to kill him? Wtf
That was the Jennie Jones show. But he wasn't outed. It was an episode about secret crushes, and a gay guy brought his straight friend to reveal he had a crush him. They also brought a mutual female friend to kind of imply that maybe she was the one that had a crush, but the show just wanted to have the shock of the reveal on air.
@@WandererFromYs Ohhh, yeah, I was honestly saying from memory. That definitely sounds more accurate to what I originally found. It's been a while since I have heard the story. Still wild that he faked him being okay with finding out on live television, then suddenly murders him, for sure! Thanks for the correction/specifications. :)
@@ravenmerchant7151 It’s hard to say if he was faking it. He looked a little uncomfortable during the episode, but he doesn’t show any signs of anger or anything. He seemed to take it well. 3 days after the episode, the gay friend left a vaguely sexual note in his door, so the guy went to the store to buy a shotgun, and then went to his house and shot him. No idea why he escalated it to that level, I don’t think he ever talked about it after the trial.
@@Dragonballzkia900352AJ That part stood out to me, because it wasn’t a typical gay bashing situation. He already knew, and he was friends with him anyway, so there was something more that drove him to it. Which is where the show comes in to it. Would it have still happened if he had told him privately? Who knows.
