This changes nothing about the fact that Nikki is the one candidate on the stage who would gladly use nuclear weapons and start wars in every part of the world. She is a real monster as far as politics go, and was the most hawkish candidate since the Kennedy years where generals openly advocated for using nuclear weapons to enforce the will of America.
The problem that I don't understand is why The US gives billions every year for a country that is committing genocide, far worse than what China is doing to the Uighurs. It doesn't make any sense to me. I don't get why Republicans are so pro Israel. Vivek is right, why should the taxpayers fund these wars? Shows how much worth goes into the grandstanding and theatrics of a televised debate when nobody is given real questions, and answers are fighting for time instead of communicating truth of where you stand on an issue.
That’s a really good point. These debates had become nothing more than platform for people to recite platitudes, which they rehearse until they’re a little more than actors. Vivek is an actual debater, and it does seem a disservice to put him in a dog and pony show forum.
Absolutely agree. Long form directed conversations with the candidates are for more valuable than any of these "debates". Instead of arguing, let's ask some questions that create introspective responses. It's far more valuable and in line with the current generation that these moderated argument "debates"

I am 74 and voted in every election since 1968 and find Vivek a once in a life time candidate. I voted for Trump twice, but really despised his teenage behavior but he was the less of 2 bad candidates in 2020. I've been critical of Krystal's interviews lately, but she did great this time. She let him talk, let him make his points, didn't step on his sentences and just let him speak his mind for better or for worse. Great interview this time BP, good questions and information sharing.

Conservatives do not come on liberal platforms and tell you how to conduct your affairs. Tucker, Elon and Joe Rogan are greatly respected among Conservative audiences because they are not afraid to ask tough questions and do not play to the establishment. That is why this particular comment went over well with the audience and Vivek received a thunderous applause in the room. Are Republican debates not being hosted for a largely conservative audience? Great interview, enjoyed and appreciate giving Vivek open time to expand on his policies and clarify the 30 second sound bites in a national "debate" where it doesn't allow room for longer substantive real debate. This was a solid interview. Vivek always comes off as very logical and articulate. He doesn't stand a chance in this election, but is laying the groundwork for 2028. If he has the patience and persistence he could be a strong candidate in '28.
Honestly, the only "powerful" voice is ours. Yours and mine. If we want something to change, we have to do it. In all my years of being alive and being swayed by this public speaker or that political candidate, and relying on them to 'speak for me -' I came to the conclusion that why don't we just speak for ourselves? Yesterday's vote in Ohio is proof - Republicans need to leave the Evangelical wing of their party in the rear-view. The left has successfully framed the abortion debate as a "women's rights" issue, and there is no stopping it now. The Evangelicals drive women to vote blue in droves - Abandon this issue, keep the focus on fiscal conservatism, they can win next year in a landslide.
But a republican president can't ban abortion. And the republican legislature can't pass an abortion ban, no matter the majority. It was sent back to the states, where it belongs. That and most of this civil rights crap we argue about should be sent back to the states as well. Federal government has fooled everyone into centralizing their politics at the national level - completely antithetical to the entire design of our federation. We should be focused on state politics solely - with barely a mention of national government.

In fact, I have been saying I will vote for whomever will keep us out of WW3 and sadly he appears to be the only candidate with that goal top of mind. Unfortunately, I'm a strong proponent of renewable energy and side with climate scientists and insurance companies when they say the climate is changing and burning fossil fuels is the primary cause. I also support energy independence via domestic production (which has been at an all time high for many years now) but not indefinitely due to the aforementioned challenges...

Vivek brought up Haley's daughter but actually it wasn't a criticism of the daughter, it was calling Haley a hypocrite for telling him to not go where the young people are, Tiktok. However, it felt like a putdown of the daughter, particularly in the context of Hunter Biden, the most embarrassing of all presidential family members. And perversely, that would seem to open up family to criticism (which Vivek wasn't even doing). Like all of the R debates, this one seems quite confused.

This was a solid interview. Vivek always comes off as very logical and articulate. He doesn't stand a chance in this election, but is laying the groundwork for 2028. If he has the patience and persistence he could be a strong candidate in '28.

Massive respect for Vivek standing up for free speech when it's actually hard. It's so easy when your side is being cancelled, but almost unheard of when it's people you hate. It's too bad abortion is on the table and I can't vote for a republican until it's not.

Yesterday's vote in Ohio is proof - Republicans need to leave the Evangelical wing of their party in the rear-view. The left has successfully framed the abortion debate as a "women's rights" issue, and there is no stopping it now. The Evangelicals drive women to vote blue in droves - Abandon this issue, keep the focus on fiscal conservatism, they can win next year in a landslide.
But a republican president can't ban abortion. And the republican legislature can't pass an abortion ban, no matter the majority. It was sent back to the states, where it belongs. That and most of this civil rights crap we argue about should be sent back to the states as well. Federal government has fooled everyone into centralizing their politics at the national level - completely antithetical to the entire design of our federation. We should be focused on state politics solely - with barely a mention of national government.
Vivek has stated abortion regulation should be handled by the states. I think that frees you up to vote for him. I think he’s the perfect guy to unite both sides. He’s been tough on both sides evenly. He’s the perfect person for the job with the country in its current state.

I really enjoyed Vivek's stances on [not] funding wars and supporting free speech. In fact, I have been saying I will vote for whomever will keep us out of WW3 and sadly he appears to be the only candidate with that goal top of mind.
Unfortunately, I'm a strong proponent of renewable energy and side with climate scientists and insurance companies when they say the climate is changing and burning fossil fuels is the primary cause. I also support energy independence via domestic production (which has been at an all time high for many years now) but not indefinitely due to the aforementioned challenges...

Vivek brought up Haley's daughter but actually it wasn't a criticism of the daughter, it was calling Haley a hypocrite for telling him to not go where the young people are, Tiktok. However, it felt like a putdown of the daughter, particularly in the context of Hunter Biden, the most embarrassing of all presidential family members. And perversely, that would seem to open up family to criticism (which Vivek wasn't even doing). Like all of the R debates, this one seems quite confused.
Vivek is a truly refreshing voice in this primary.

Yes - a very reasonable answer. What people are missing is that if he were president it’s Israel’s fight and fight alone and they will have to answer to the world not the United States.
