Yes and thank you! Just trying to open up the process so that people can consider different machine tools brands:) more syils means more people to ask help from
Well I hope you learned something from this video. To be honest: I haven't made a chip yet due to electrical rewiring of the workshop and a leaking coolant tank... hopefully we are set to start this week!
Apparently the spindle drive is now Italian and is more expensive... I wish it was 3phase, but returns are quite hard. In 2 hours we are going to wire it up and see if we can let it loose.
Siemens, fanuc or LNC. 10 inch screen i think, it supports both 4th and 5th axis. I recommend to watch my made for oyster series for more details on the machine!
Not fully yet, but that is more on me than on the machine. I try to bring a single product to market and the development time is longer than expected. I did do some job shop and that helps!
When you have money, money is never a problem :) also, if you have money, you probably buy a Okuma instead of a Syil. I'm happy with my machine though!
Hello. Odd question. I am trying to wire the money to Syil but my bank wants the clearing code (bank branch code) and Syil is not understanding what I am asking for. They gave the 8 letters long Swift code but my bank wants the 11 letters long code. May you please tell me the Swift and clearing codes you used to make the wire transfer. Thank you.
@@yesealex Quick background : I and my nephew wanted to create a machine shop since January. But we couldn't find any workshop/warehouse big enough available in this area. So I had to drop the plan to buy an used Deckel Maho DMP60 that was and still is available for sale for 33k . Conclusion : the only way to move forward with the machine was to choose a small machine like the Syil X7-20. So I am basically throwing my life savings into this machine and company. Controller : Syntec 22MA because the Siemens doesn't work with the 30k spindle. Plus CTS + chip conveyor and 4th axis
Amazing video! Thanks a lot for the information and especially thank you for being transparent on costs and insiders of the whole process!

Good of you to give a break down on pricing.
I bet your happy to finally have it sitting in your shop.
Now for the best part ?
Making Parts.
Thank you! Best to be honest and transparent if you want your videos to be informative. Hopefully next week some chips!
That was a good bit of info, thanks.
What App did you use for watching the progress of the ship?
That was cheaper than I was expecting as well!
Hi Rob, the app is Marine trafic. It's a AIS tracker for ships. Luckily i was in a Covid 19 low, prices are 400 euro's more at the moment I heard.
Thanks for the info. I’m looking at buying a Syil, and am a little nervous importing.
How have you found the machine so far?
Cheers

me to, where are you located
Hi Paul, I'm in the Netherlands
Very clear video, thanks for it.
Thanks! Are you planning on buying a Syil?
Wait if you buy it in Europe you don’t have transportation and zoll 🛃 included?
Not back in the day. Now they have dealers that pay the transport and toll. And then they Bill it to you in the price plus margin :)
Thanks, very helpful video.
Thanks for watching! And for leaving a comment!
Now for the chips. This is a 3 phase machine yeah?
I ordered 3 phase. They send single phase 230v
@@yesealex so that means you got down rated servos and spindle yeah?
Apparently the spindle drive is now Italian and is more expensive... I wish it was 3phase, but returns are quite hard. In 2 hours we are going to wire it up and see if we can let it loose.
Good work
Thank you
Hello again.
What HS code did you use on the customs declaration?
Thank you.
8459510000 this one! Could you email Xushuo that I've helped you a lot? :) might help me with a lathe. Have a great day!
What controller does it come with, what size is the screen, does it support a 4th or 5th axis
Siemens, fanuc or LNC. 10 inch screen i think, it supports both 4th and 5th axis. I recommend to watch my made for oyster series for more details on the machine!
How did you get the 19000eur price with toolchanger? What was in the package?
X7-20, lnc 6800, 12 pocket tool changer. I know they had to do a price raise at the start of 2021. What are you looking at?
Is Syil X7-20 a chinese manufactured machine?
Yes! But lots of a brand parts. I had a broken cycle start button last week, but it was just from schneider. 20$ and had it in the next day
Did you manage to have a return on investment?
Not fully yet, but that is more on me than on the machine. I try to bring a single product to market and the development time is longer than expected. I did do some job shop and that helps!
@@yesealex Thank you very much for sharing your experience, I wish you the best!
Thanks
If you have money then is not problem high cost shipping and custom!!! No other problem

@@yesealex chinese machine is also good
29K usd for a professional mill is a bargain, congrats on your purchase.
Thank you! I'm liking the machine a lot so far!
I agree!

The AUDIO is very, very horrible!!!
I wouldn't call it horrible, but I have improved these days!
