I purchased a 60W mopa from a different company, but really appreciated the video. I'm on the FB laser group pages and can attest to how much Pascal & Bella help "everyone."
Thanks for your turst and sharing, Robert. Amazing video and coin marking! Haotian laser makes lasers in China for almost 20 years. And warranty the machine for 3 years. If any parts has quality problem, Haotian laser will send the parts to you for free, and bear all costs because of it.
Great video, I am a laser marking machine engineer from Wuhan, China, and this video is much helpful for people to purchase a laser marking machine from China.
I ordered a monport and some people said I made a mistake. The laser seems so far to work great. It has a QC sheet showing the Raycus laser was in spec. Shipping was great from China.
This is great work. I pretty much wrote off the £thousands I spent on my first Fiber, ordered from an Optical Valley (Wuhan) supplier. Ahem, early in 2020, so pretty much at the start of Lockdown here in the UK. Wuhan was a bit of a dirty word, so I got a good price. I assumed: it would not arrive because: the ship sank / got stuck in the Suez Canal / my crate would be held at customs forever because I did something wrong / it would be the wrong voltage or just explode when i plugged it in or not work at all. Cut to the end - none of those things happened and it's an incredible machine that's moved me away from traditional old CNC rotary engravers for our brass products. I only recently discovered the helpful FB groups about laser machines, in the case of finding Robert's great videos, the specific Fiber Laser machine group. Great to see so much evangalism for Pascal's company (most from the USA I think, but not all) I desperately need more machines here and would - thanks to the FB group and Robert's great videos - not hesitate to look a lot more closely at Haotin's products now.
I just ordered from HAO TIAN. I’ll see how it goes. Response was quick for time difference. I could not use the coupon code, I did not see a place to add it. Thanks for the video and recommendations. If it goes bad I’ll update. So far, the interaction with Pascal was positive.

Looking at buying 30w split from Pascals Agent here. Looking forward to seeing more of your fibre related “ How to……..”.
Wonderful information. I'm debating investing in a fibre (Her majesty says its spelled this way :P ) laser and getting good basic information on the process and what to look for is brilliant.

I bought my 50 watt fiber laser from Cloud Ray. One reason was they had a warehouse in the US. Buying from the warehouse instead of buying directly from China I didn't have to deal with the import duties and shipping costs from China all of which would have cost me more money in the end. I saw in a comment on a video where a guy bought his fiber laser from China and the import tax was one third the cost of the machine. It's something you may want to pay attention to.
@@computercreationzI read a lot of comments on RUclips videos. Sometime it is hard to separate fact from fiction. It sounds like you got a pretty good deal on your mopa laser.
You're doing a very good job explaining and no music in the background. Thank you for that, but I need help with the software but the current version. I just got the new Z5-1 Fiber Laser Engraver, Desktop I thought I would start with something basic and not too expensive just to learn the software, hoping eventually it will go to Lightburn. I'm having a hard time finding someone that can actually explain the software without music in the background and out without just someone pointing a mouse around one location to the next with no explanation. Any suggestions thanks.

Hello there!! I love all your videos, very knowledgeable you are !! I took your advise and just ordered a Fiber laser from Pascal. How are you enjoying your fiber laser thus far? Do you use it often ? Thanks again keep the videos coming !
Thanks for the video. I have read on other sites (Laser Everything for one) that the learning curve for a MOPA is pretty steep. I have no immediate desire to do colors (but would like to have the potential) right now so I am wondering if the steep learning curve is related to just doing colors or is a MOPA a much different animal with the operation harder to master than a q-switched unit. Thanks.
There are many fiber lasers available for purchase. Many do not have good parts and many do not have any support after purchasing. It is very confusing on what to buy. BUT buying from a reputable seller is not the lowest price.
Hi Robert , sorry for all the questions but you and I are the same as in doing diligent research. What 2 lenses did you select and why , also did you get a rotary , I am looking at the 80mm , is that large enough to handle the 20 and 30 ounce Yeti tumblers. The 60mm rotary would be great for rings to but probably useless for tumblers. You made me feel comfortable with the process of buying from China as I am talking with Pascal , thanks for the detailed video
Unfortunately I haven’t even pulled my rotary out that I got from pascal. So I can help you on that one, pascal will be able to tell you I’m sure. I ordered the 110mmx110 mm and the 210mmx210mm lenses that covers 4”x 4” and 8”x 8” work area. I should have gotten the 300mm as well because they do the lens calibration for you. Get the lenses you want up from in my opinion! Good luck when your purchase. Good choice!
Hi Robert , quick question , you said you paid for your laser using PayPal linked to a credit card for double protection. Did you pay an additional 2.99% fee for choosing this payment method , which is normally a sellers merchant fee. Trying to understand the process clearly. Thanks
The fiber is not the best choice for tumblers, a co2 galvo is much better suited for that task . Doing tumblers on a rotary on a fiber is a bit tedious.

From experience the risk isn't worth the reward. There's a lot of chinese laser 'companies' that have merely fronted an appearance online.
