Happy 1 month to baby Ellie! wow the Ergo has really changed. I had one when my son was a baby (he's a teenager now) and the zippered pouch wasn't part of it. You had to pay extra for that and the waist extension so dad could use it too. It was also very hot and didn't have that lumbar support. Despite all that, it was a lifesaver for me, esp since my baby was almost 10 lbs at birth! Glad they changed it.
Oh my goodness you gave birth to an almost 10 pound baby, you are a hero. I would be using that ergo baby from day one lol that was one of my favorite things to use with Landon and I’m hoping that Ellie loves it just as much :-)
@@themissalliecakes lol yes it was wild! I was a premature baby (under 3 lbs) so that was my biggest fear for him, but nope he was a full term big baby and long! (he kicked me in the ribs a lot when I was pregnant) I'm sure Ellie will love it too!
This is hysterical to me. So many people are saying the same thing. It’s so so interesting how it works really well for one baby doesn’t work well at all for others. I experienced that when sleep training Landon in the very beginning I was trying all different methods that people swore by and they just did not work for him. We landed on the Ferber method and it was a godsend
My kiddo is almost 4, and hated Dr.browns, hated Avent. Loves Tommy tippie, but LOVED boon nursh bottles, and still does. She just uses it as a cup without the nipple portion now that she's older 🤣
My son has Dr. Brown bottles since day one and he's 6 months now. He didn't like the nipple on the premade formula bottles so I packed a bottle just in case in my hospital bag and I used the Dr. Brown nipple while he was in the hospital and when got home we out it on the regular bottle and he loves them. He's on the big bottles now the 8oz ones.
Yay. We are huge Dr. Brown’s bottles fans in this household. How much is your son drinking now that he is six months old, does he do the whole 8 ounces? I honestly forget the ounces per months from when I had Landon lol I feel like I am re-figuring out the whole newborn stage/infant stage Hah Hah Hah

I have a love hate relationship with the dr brown bottles. They helped with the colic for my son but hated washing all the pieces to them and I have the original ones that you can’t use without the straw. I tired those binky’s with my son but he hates them, he loved the mam ones, so I have and am gonna try them with my daughter when she is born in April. I also saw those bows on Amazon and will definitely be getting them.
It’s so funny how well babies are so different. I find it so interesting that some thing that works so well for one baby doesn’t work at all for the others. I was using dr browns and my baby got BAD colic and wasn’t eating as much so we switched to Philips natural avent and she is doing MUCH better!!! Try them!! We swear by them! Also love that bag!!! Have it and it’s SO useful!!!
Where did you get the additional accessories for the playmat? The thing hanging across the top and then the folding thing you put cards in? Thanks so much!
I have a suggestion instead of the angelcare cause it works great until they start trying to sit up then it becomes dangerous the frida bathtub works for all stages
Have you used the Dr. Brown's Formula Pitcher? It's my #1 formula feeding item (and I don't even use their bottles...too many parts for me haha. I love Avent). I also swear by the Boon bottle brushes and drying lawn.

So interesting what other parents and babies love/hate. We hated Dr Brown's bottles and loved Avent bottles!
