Would love to see this entire broadcast! Reminds me of an Old Time Radio convention I attended 15 years or so ago where they did recreations of live broadcasts complete with sound effects tables, organist, etc. Love the golden age of radio theater...

Mort Marshall was about to become famous as the voice of the "Trix Rabbit" in General Mills' Trix commercials, which he did for over 20 years. And there were his voices for "TENNESSEE TUXEDO AND HIS TALES" and "THE UNDERDOG SHOW" in the 1960's........

To think it'd only been a little over twenty five years before then...

Sad that it was considered "old time", even though "Suspense" was still in production, and would be until 1962.

"YOURS TRULY, JOHNNY DOLLAR" and "SUSPENSE" were the last radio dramas CBS scheduled on September 30, 1962. There were some revivals later on [ABC's "THEATER FIVE" and "THE CBS RADIO MYSTERY THEATER"], but it wasn't the same.
